^ That was supposed to be the ending.
My favorite episodes are (in no particular order): April Fools' Day, School Play, Helga on the Couch, Arnold's Christmas, Haunted Train, Pigeon Man, Mr. Hyunh Goes Country, Sid's Revenge, Roller Coaster, The Pig War, Stinky's Pumpkin, Helga Sleepwalks, Headless Cabbie, Love and Cheese, Monkeyman!, Parent's Day, Stuck in a Tree, Sid the Vampire Slayer, and The Journal.
Enough favorite episodes? ;D

That would've been the perfect way to end Hey Arnold!!!! That's why the movie never being made is even sadder. Disappointment aside, I loved this show. The style was quite simple but the writing and characters were very charming and smart. Also, Arnold/Helga is so OTP. <3

I actually remember hearing about a second movie. but I thought it was made. haha I was wrong. I agree that it would have been perfect way to end. @chibi chan- That's what I'd like to know! What happened to this show? Was it having poor ratings?

It was awesome, though, one of the best shows on Nick at the time. How could it have been removed for low ratings?

Was it having poor ratings? I believe there was a fall-out between Craig Bartlett (creator) and Nickelodeon. The first movie didn't do well, and I guess once Spongebob, murderer of all intelligent shows, came around, it overshadowed Hey Arnold! and that was the end of that. (and all other decent shows) I still want Nickelodeon to do a weekend of their "oldies" nicktoons. Hey Arnold!, Rugrats, Rocket Power, The Wild Thornberrys, Rocko's Modern Life, Doug, etc., with NO Spongebob or anything like that (no Avatar, either, but it would only be for one weekend, much better than the break between S2 and S3.) Oh, and maybe they could even do a Nick Jr. oldies morning, with Little Bear and Franklin! ^___^;; ...Why is Nick so stupid? Anyway, I suppose I should get back on topic. Who's your favorite character in Hey Arnold!? I'd have to say that I really like Helga, but when I was little, Pheobe was my favorite. I still quite like her. But when I first saw the show, Arnold was my favorite. Oh, Gerald was also up there, due to the urban legends. ^^

When I was a kid, I used to watch that show everyday! It was nice, no vulgar stuff or anything. But, now they don't show it anymore. It wouldn't be my fav. show anymore (avatar is always numba one!), but it still would have been nice to watch.

Who's your favorite character in Hey Arnold!? When I was little it was Arnold. I really admired him for being such a nice guy (I adored when he gave advice to his friends) and dealing with the fact that his parents are missing/maybe dead. Looking back on the show, I have to say Helga. The reasons why she acted the way she did were really interesting (the "I’m going to preschool!" scene in Helga on the Couch breaks my heart) and the audience gets to enjoy a side of her the characters mostly didn’t get to see. I’m also a fan of Phoebe, Gerald, and Chocolate Boy. It wouldn't be my fav. show anymore (avatar is always numba one!), but it still would have been nice to watch. Indeed. It saddens me that Hey Arnold!, or other old Nick shows for that matter, aren’t on DVD.

The setting of the whole show was realistic, and very depressing.
Sad urban areas.
But the show was good, because it brought up some good perspectives on life.

MUSOGATO IS A HEY ARNOLD! FAN!?! ^______________^
I never saw the show as depressing when I was little... now I see it as very sad but well-done.
I really, really hope that we get DVDs eventually...

You know, Koikitten, I didn't answer your question (about fave characters) right away, cuz I wanted to think about it. And I still can't think who is my fave! I"m gonna say Helga, cuz I always liked her and she always would make me laugh (with her crush on Arnold and the whole Brainy thing).
