Please don't tell me I'm the only fan of Hey Arnold! on this board. I've been watching the show since 1996, and I probably saw the pilot but I can't remember, because I was really young then. I loved the show, but couldn't really appreciate it then. Recently, I watched a few episodes of it and could truly appreciate the show, and I don't understand why Nick can't put it back on the schedule. They've even taken it off of the Nicktoons channel! There are no DVDs that have the full seasons, either, which is more proof that Nick likes ruining its best shows. Some people never liked the show, because "Arnold always does the right thing, it's sooo boring." But the show is a lot more than Arnold "always doing the right thing." It has a stunning array of characters, and is just, in my opinion, pretty close to Avatar in its writing, music, and characters (but worlds apart in style). There is a site where you can download all the episodes, and I can give you the link if you'd like. Otherwise, here are some links: Original Opening: www.youtube.com/watch?v=q3GO8u0KO2ELast third of April Fools' Day with the TANGO SCENE: www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLsVy34_7hAHey-Arnold.com (fansite): www.hey-arnold.com/Arnold/arnold.htmlCome on, I can't be the only fan of this awesome show!

Well, I'm not obsessed, but I used to love it! I haven't even seen the show in soooooo long!! I always wanted Helga and Arnold to get together. ^_^
I remember the pilot, a bit. It was a good show, and they should at least release full season DVD's.

I loved this show. I always watched it when I stayed home from school [[like i am today xD]] but it was a pretty good show.
I loved how whenever Helga was alone talking about how she loves Arnold that creepy kid would be there and she'd just punch him in the face! xD

^ You're talking about Brainy. Brainy's awesome. He has as much, if not more, of a crush on Helga than Helga has on Arnold, and Brainy's not afraid to let her know. Personally, I think Brainy may be a "real" version of Helga's passion. Yes! Full season DVDs would be awesome. I'd buy every single one, and invite my friend who's also obsessed over, and we could point out mistakes and laugh and say, "Helga's so obsessed." I actually drew some fanart when I was... three? four? It's actually pretty good, I have it somewhere. It was of Arnold, who I always looked up to when I was little! Not to mention the real reason I like the show is because all of the kids are actually realistic, with the exception of Arnold, who I believe is supposed to represent the good and innocence in the kids in the series, considering how much older than nine they act. I think he acts more or less as the tether to the kids' true ages, although the tether is more or less broken during the movie when Helga confesses. The episodes placed after the movie show Arnold more or less flirting with Helga and dancing rather passionately with her (and I could go on for hours on that tango scene). I think that a huge part of the show is innocence, actually, because even Helga can be considered innocent due to the fact her parents drove her to be the way that she ended up. In fact, she may be just as innocent as Arnold. Helga got attached to Arnold, and the main reason was that he was the first one that truly cared for her, not to mention that while they may, at first glance, seem to be polar popposites, they're nearly the same character. Both parents for both children do not act as loving parents throughout the entire series. (Helga's are centered around Olga/busy with selling cheap beepers/alcoholic, while Arnold's are presumed dead.) Both have blond hair, both dream often, both are repected in their grade, etc., etc., etc. So, I honestly think Arnold and Helga were meant to be destined for each other. Oh, one last thing. Their relationship after the movie is actually... not so innocent, but I could go on forever on that, too...

I was bad and didn't go see the movie. I ended up seeing it years later on Nickelodeon. I actually wasn't too impressed with it, but then again, I have to wonder that if I had gone, if they would have made the finale, "The Jungle Movie."
Has anyone heard about the series, "The Patakis" that was going to be made, but Nick thought it was too dark, and MTV thought it was too light? It would have been set in the future. Arnold would have moved away, and Helga basically writes letters to Arnold throughout the course of the episodes, but never sends them. Her mom is at AA meetings and such... it sounds insanely depressing, but I would kill for it to be on. I literally cried when I found out what it was about and the fact it probably would never be made.

Second, i heard about that a while ago, and it would be pretty cool to see that on TV(although it is depressing). I remember alot of the episodes of this show, one of my favorites was the Christmas episode, with Mr. Hyunh finding his daughter. Fantastic, that episode. I also liked how not everything had to be said, you could just tell what characters were thinking.
