^Yeah, we need someone who has a couple million dollars lying around so we can use it to get together and socialize for real.
Oh my, then don't come here dearest, our weather would murder your hair in the summertime.
Its like that here too, glad that I'm not the only person who has been experiencing it their whole lives.
Need a massage dearest?? *gets oil ready*

Maybe someday we'll all get to meet each other face-to-face. I don't mind chatting online, but I'd rather know people in person. About the bipolar weather, what kills me is that the weather used to be consistent-- winter, kinda cold; summer, scorching hot. Now it's like going through 2 different seasons at the same time, and it's driving me crazy. @_@ Not to mention that the constantly changing temperatures have also increased the number of thunderstorms & tornadoes around here lately.... Ooh, a massage sounds wonderful. Remind me to bake you an enormous batch of cookies later, that is incredibly sweet of you, my dearest teddy bear. *^_^*

While It pains me about what they do to people, I can say I love thunderstorms. Its always like an adventure.

I adore lightning, but thunder scares me to no end. it's quite pathetic, really.

I actually like thunderstorms too, as long as I don't have to go outside I'm not really scared of thunder, but lightning startles me just a bit. Overall, I agree with Syn, they are an adventure.

^The only times I hate thunderstorms, are when they end up canceling Lacrosse practice. I despise them then, and only then. I love to drive in the rain, I think that's also an adventure.

I don't mind thunder storms as long as I don't have to go outside. As for lightning it makes me laugh cause almost everyone I know is afraid of it.

^I think thunder is cool, just knowing how it happens and why it happens. But sometimes I could be sleeping and it will be loud enough to make me jump up.

^ Hey, what happened to that massage you promised meh? =O
I'm not scared of lightning, except for when it's really close by and illuminates the entire room. That's about the only time I'll get scared during a thunderstorm, when all the action is right above my head. Other than that, I'm perfectly at ease.

You have to come over first I've seen that happen, it's like if its raining at night, then the lightning flashes, and then everything goes white, it turns the night into day in a single second. Its crazy how much light is created in that instant.

Hmph. If you say so... That's only happened to me once, about 5-6 years ago. I was lying in bed, almost asleep, and the next thing I know the entire room is white. I honestly thought for a second there that I'd gone blind and deaf. Completely freaked me out. >.>

one of my first memories is being in the woods during a lightningstorm and watching all the trees around me illuminate with the purest light I'd ever seen. it totally left me in awe, which is why I still love lightning.

^ I have never had a experience like that with lighting.
I've had one like Solva where the lighting, lights up the whole room and I think its pretty cool especially at night.

Stories like all the above make me envious that I don't live in the USA... the lightning in UK isn't very spectacula we don't even get much... ............. I love lighting Its so pretty whenever there is any I always go sit at the window and watch it.... Statisticlly in the UK ur more likely to die from an asteroid hitting u on the head than being struck by lighting...

I seriously laughed when I read that, that just can't be right. Lightning can't be that rare of a sight to be compared to getting it by an asteroid.
