This is one of my biggest pet peeves that was tripped a few minutes ago. I am so SICK of this. The problem is, someone will tell me something or ask me a question, I'll answer, they'll repeat it, I'll answer, and they'll REPEAT IT A THIRD FREAKING TIME, and I'll answer again, but I'll sound more annoyed than the other two times, and the change in tone causes a HUGE controversy.
Usually they will react by saying how rude the tone was, and they'll freak out, I'll tell them that if I didn't say it that way my point would have never gotten across, they'll freak out some more, and then someone will hop in and "save the day" by getting on the side of the IDIOT I'm talking to.
It's usually my sister who does it. IT'S SO ANNOYING! So, I sounded a bit more annoyed, that's supposed to make me horrifyingly rude?! Well, I'll tell you one thing, even the simplest thing like BREATHING is rude to her.
I've been pretending to not care about this, but it's SO annoying!!! I'LL TELL YOU WHAT'S RUDE! AND IT'S SOMETHING YOU'RE DOING EVERY MINUTE, ALLIE! PURPOSELY INTERRUPTING ME BY FARTING! AND GIGGLING! HOW IN THE FREAKING UNIVERSE ARE YOU CALLING ME RUDE FOR HAVING EMOTIONS WHEN YOU'RE DOING SOMETHING SICK AND ON PURPOSE, TOO!!!
Okay. Now that's off of my back, and I'm not going to kill anybody over what has been bothering me for YEARS.

sigh...my dad does that...grrr...
i've developed a new peeve working in retail. annoying customers. this one lady came with a coupon that expired like ten days before and kept begging me to validate it. i kept going and was like, no, sorry, can't do anything and then the lady gave me and attitude and was like i wanna see your manager, i'll have your job for this -__-
my manager told me the same thing and she walked off so distraught. seriously, is ten bucks worth that much to you stupid woman?
sigh, and i thought working at a lingerie store would be fun...

my manager told me the same thing and she walked off so distraught. seriously, is ten bucks worth that much to you stupid woman? Here's a pet peeve of mine, when people don't take into account the amount of time it takes to get money. Sure, if this lady or possibly her husband make boatloads an hour than yes 10$ isn't a lot. But if you're working minimum wage to 10$ an hour, 10$ takes an hour to get or more. Do you think an hour of your time is worth talking to someone's manager about? Also, people who knock on doors and then walk in without waiting. What's the point of telling us you're coming in if you don't give us enough time to process the warning? If you're going to barge in on someone don't pretend you're being polite!

believe me, i know what working a minimum wage job is like. and if you're working minimum wage and trying to make ends meet by doing everything you can to save money you really have no business being in a place like Victoria's Secret at all. So no offense mike, but your little lecture on not considering other people was unnecessary. And besides, more money in her pocket is less in ours, the employees who are also working minimum wage.
And it doesn't matter what your financial situation is. From the looks of her, she was well off. But even if she wasn't, do you really think I should've given her a break? I don't care how much you beg, I'm not gonna feel sorry for you. I'll just be more ticked off that you think you're special.
Pet Peeve: when people think we should bend rules and give people breaks cuz of some situation. Of course, there are the extreme situations where normal rules may not apply. But otherwise, you're wasting my time and yours if you think I'll make you the exception to the rules when its unfair to the others before you who probably had better reasons and still were denied.
Fact of life: Excuses and dependency on other people's sympathy won't get you very far.

I don't understand why Filipino dramas always overuse the slow-motion effect!? Heck, I know it enhances drama when USED properly but when you use it every other take then switch to a commercial it's just plain annoying! Another thing, Taglish! I hate it, especially if they use it to look cool which is most often the case. Overall it just makes the whole scene corny and is completely laughable what with sayings like: "You're a no good, scene stealing copycat!" or however that line goes.

No, she's an idiot for fighting over an expired coupon. I wasn't saying that you did the wrong thing in this situation, I was saying 10$ is worth more than you make it sound and I hate when people act like 10$ is nothing. I don't, with some exceptions think we should bend rules for other people.

I had a really weird dream last night.
I was playing Battlefront 2, yet nothing ever worked the way I wanted it to. Then there was this guy with a deformed foot sitting there. After a while of this, I remember becoming extremely dizzy, turning, and falling onto my head as the Battlefront 2 world fell into darkness, and at once an annoying kid named Nick that I know was standing there. I perceived his presence without actually seeing him.
Then I woke up.
WRONG THREAD.
I hate flying a lot. And hotel pillows.

my room mate and her friends never shut up or go away. It's 3:00 in the freakin' morning,GO HOME!!!! I have an 8:30am class and they're still here. Our dorm isn't at all sound proof so them being in the private room does nothing. They know I have to be up and I did politely ask them to take it somewhere else but all they said was that they'd be more quiet. Yeah, still waiting for that to happen. I have to put on my headphones to tune them out but at the same time I just want to sleep. How hard is it to just go to their own dorm rooms? For real. Not all of us have Wednesday mornings off. I don't do this to my room mate when she has to be up,if I'm with my friends I take it somewhere else so she can sleep at a decent hour. I get no respect. I could talk to her about it forever but it never changes anything. I don't want to be that person who goes to the RA's and complains but its becoming a bit much...

I'd talk to her one more time and hint that you don't feel the problem has been improved and if things don't get better, you might feel compelled to go to the RA. At least give her another chance to try and improve before you pull rank. I totally get what you say about the kid who always goes to the RA, though. ): I hope things improve for you!

I did end up talking to her about it,really stressing this time around my point of view, and she's been doing a lot better. I didn't go as far as threatening to get the RA in here, but I did say that her friends being here all hours of the night is a bit much so things have been getting better. So thank you for your response,I'm glad things worked out the way they did. On a pet peeve note though: It bugs me when I'm in a show and the main character(after two months of working on this production)doesn't know their lines at all. For real,if you're going to be a diva,be good at what you do.
