yeha, it would be nice to have this mess cleared up soon. With Nick gaining more stupidity at any rate, realeasign flyers like that with "supposed air dates", and then saying their now inaccurate. Do they really want to kill us all or something?? XD

This kinda puts a damper on my Avatarded joy. However, we've always got the New York Comic Con to pump us up for the new episodes (when they finally do arrive). Look on the bright side - Nick has to air them sooner or later...

Look on the bright side - Nick has to air them sooner or later... *optimism FOR THE WIN.* This is pretty much how I feel. Learning that the flyer was outdated certainly sucked, and it did bring my happiness down a few notches, but we do have the NYCC to look forward to! Is anyone here going!? Lisa, don't feel too bad, it could have happened to anyone of us who stumbled on that. You just wanted to share some good news, I would've done the same thing. I'd still like to thank you for your enthusiasm and your kindness in sharing whatever news you found. I'm glad for whatever information is given to me.

And on a personal note, I am so very sorry for circulating inaccurate information. I had every reason to believe that the information included in the flyer was accurate and completely current. I regret very much inadvertently adding to the overall unrest within Avatar fandom regarding the remainder of S3. I will never allow it to happen again. It is at times like this I definitely feel an anti-exalt button would be useful because I honestly feel I deserve to be demoted for my carelessness. Again I am very, very sorry. No worries, Lisa. Even Nick stated that the flyer was authentic... it's not your fault they took it back. I would have jumped at the chance to post the info, too. If we're going to use that imaginary anti-exalt button on anyone, we should use it on Nick for being so tricksy!

^ As disappointing as Nick's curve-ball is, maybe some of the info is still real and up-to-date. For instance, if they were planning 3 original movies then, they probably still are. Nick's not THAT indesisive, are they?

^Yeah, that's what I thought too. There's no reason why they wouldn't do the 3 movies now. Unless the flyer is from when they though that Avatar was worth airing, and now they just want it off the air. DX

Thanks guys. I was REALLY upset about the news about the flyer. I bawled like a baby actually. Being in a relationship with Nickelodeon is kind of like having a really bad boyfriend. You are an emotional basket case most of the time and at any given moment everything that he did which made you so very happy one minute can turn out to be the bane of your existence the next.
But on a brighter note, we do have the NYCC to look forward to and hopefully good news about the airing of the remainder of S3. At this point I really would just be happy to get the rest of the DVDs. If it airs on Nick, fab, but if it doesn't I will be skipping down to Best Buy, pressing my puppy nose against the glass door and pound away with an urgent fist until they let me in first thing in the morning on May 6th and July 29th.
I was heartily pleased that Nick was kind enough to clarify the flyer. Truth be told they really didn't have to do that. And in as much as I take criticizing Nickelodeon to an artform, I do have to say that ounce of pity thrown Avatar fandom's way meant a lot to me personally.
And on the heels of that the quasi-official live-action movie release date as well! Boo-yah!
It's shaping up to be a stellar week for Avatarians thus far!
