LOL.
Does anybody else find it strange that advertising information has been produced... you know, they type that people PAY to have made so they can get that information to the public.
... but instead, we have to STEAL our advertisments.
maby this has been the plan of nick all along. get a great show running, a huge fanbase, and wait till the AWS is so bad, that fans will be willing to pay to watch avatar commercials.
<_< >_>

THIS.IS.AMAZING! Nick will be showing the episodes following episode 10 of book 3 and after that will be the finale! I can't wait to see ALL THREE MOVIES!! I was PMSing the whole day, and this just made it waaayyy better! I really want to go to Comic Con this year, but most likely my parents will say no since we live in Florida and California is across the country. Yay! I can't wait for the finale! But... why do all good things come to an end....

Man you guys really will not believe anything is 110 percent legit until Acastus posts it on ASN. LOL *sigh* Here are the additional pics Heather Lynn took of the marketing flyer: pics.livejournal.com/hlynn/gallery/0000ae2d

Let me repeat myself: I'm not skeptical of Heather's information in any way. (And my redundancy doesn't come in response to those pictures, either - though it was gracious of you to provide them.) It's the disclaimer they've got on the flyer that's bugging me. Nothing is really confirmed until the network says so, right? Believe me, I'm as excited as any of you about this news, but I'm also considering all the possibilities, here (it's not like there's anything else Avatar-related to do but examine the flyer from every angle... *sigh*). Avatar is set for 4/18 on my TiVo, which would line up with where they'd have to air 312 to get all the episodes out by May's end. I'm optimistic, but cautiously so.

I was going mad at some point thinking this was a big hoax, but the flyer is the real deal. Of course, like people above said, the information is subject to change, and the flyer was printed months ago. Also, I too am disapointed with the lack of advertizing for this.

^you know, that's most likely why I thought this whole flyer deal was a hoax, for the same reasons you said too. Well, after seeing that the flyer is real, I can't really create arguments to debunk it. It's a real thing. At the least, the information on the flyer is what Nick had planned months ago. Shedules change. Who knows? Live action movie by 2009? I think more early 2010.

^I have to say it might not be that odd to have a sign-up date in 2004 and then never post. I'm guilty of registering for a forum and then never posting. DH is the first forum I've ever been that active in, and as you can see from my low # of posts and fairly long membership time, it's still not exactly impressive. Not to mention I just read the forum forever before I ever posted anything.

Another problem being, though, at the bottom in tiny tiny print it says "all information is subject to change". I doubt that will go into use, but just being the wet blanket here. That's more likely to be applied to things scheduled for 2009. They might postpone an episode a week or two, but that disclaimer is just something they tack onto all those kinds of things to be safe.

what bothered me the most is, how if this person had the information months ago, just now she revealed it. it's the timing of all of this... it's pretty bad timing, because people are very sensitive about this issue. there sooo many rumors, hearsays, theories, doomsday for avatar rumors, that it is so easy for someone to make a fake flyer to stirr things up.
anyway, it seems that this person was honest, and that the timing of the leak was due to her own desire to watch more Avatar episodes, and share the information she had for a while. I kinda understand that, since she just recently became an Avatar fan - more or less because of the interest spiked by that flyer.
oh well... I'm cool now about this.

I never doubted the flyer was authentic for a second. I rechecked the Nielsen factoids listed and they all were exactly as they had been presented on the flyer. And even beyond that common sense would dictate that it was professionally done and if that wasn't enough, someone would have to have a Nick Intellectual Property death-wish if they generated material like that and fool-heartedly thought it would go unnoticed.

It might seem a little odd, but the facts are:
1. The flier looks legit. 2. The user, whoever she is, sounds legit. 3. For the first time in months, we have new information to debate over.
Nuff said.
