Suggestions Guide *must read*

Okay, we've been seeing some repeated suggestions lately. Some may seem like good ideas at first, but really, they're not. So for new and first time (or n00b) suggestors (real word or not, I don't care), here's a thread that will give you a heads up on what not to suggest. It will save you five minutes of your life and also save you from being flamed by us staff members for suggesting such an over-used idea that we've heard a billion times before already. It will only be rejected. Super fast.

1. DH-Supported Chatrooms/Chatterboxes DO NOT SUGGEST THIS ANYMORE. Us staff members have agreed every time to never support such a thing because of all the strings involved. The chatrooms are more than likely to be infested with trolls, bad-mouthed people, spammers, etc. The DH is supposed to be a kid-friendly site, and if the forum supports a DH chatroom and something bad happens in there, it would not look good on our forum. Plus it will be pretty hard to moderate since us staffies do have lives you know. Therefore, if you want to create a DH chatroom, create it yourselves. You don't need our backing.

2. More subboards for this and that. We've talked about this at the Staff Board, but we just can't create subboards anymore. The forum already has a lot, and creating more boards would make the DH look clogged. Unless it's a really important subboard that many members will participate in, then we won't create it. And no, fangirl/fanboy clubs do not count.

3. Bigger Avatars (more than 100x100). Sorry, we can't alter the avatar sizes. The default will and always be 100x100 or lower, and besides, having bigger avatars would stretch the pages and would make pages load slower (or even freeze) for people who have lower resolutions. I also think that bigger avatars are ugly and unflattering. Sorry.

4. Create dating boards please! Uh... no.

5. Member of the Month Awards! This will only breed hatred and excessive amounts of jealousy. We've got some very jealous people around here you know. And did I tell you that this is unfair?

6. More staff dammit! You guys suck! First off, how dare you say we suck. We work our butts off trying to regulate this place and you're saying that we suck? Fellow human, it is you who sucks. But anyway, we know when we need more staff members (especially during September when S3 starts), so no need to bother us about it.

7. Asking if this/that thread can be moved to Legendary. If you'd like to see a certain thread moved into the Legendary board, you don't need to make a thread to suggest this. You can just post the link to the thread you want to see immortalized HERE. That's the thread to nominate possible legendary threads and that way the staff can judge and decide to move it to Legendary, yes or no.

So far this is it. This will be updated later on when there are more things to... well, update.

^ I don't even know if it's possible to block spam posts...and how the spam blocker would know what's a post and what's spam.

I agree number six made me laugh to. I'm sitll suprised I haven't got hate pms yet thank god.

But I'm glad people will know that yes we aware of most of the issues.

I agree with all of those. I mean why have a chatroom anyway ... either way it would go this way.

Just post your idea in this board in a new thread. And everyone will look and see how realistic and doable it is.

If you mean suggesting something for this guide post it here, so that the staff can decide if it needs to be added to the guide.

This may be the stupidest idea ever, but maybe you guys should create a link to show people how to get their avatars and other things on their account. I also want to apologize for all those jerks (or not very nice people) who said you suck.
