I didn't think of Katara in the water as revealing at all. We only saw her shoulders. I agree with Chaobunny, it made her seem more vulnerable than sexy. But then I guess vulnerable teens are sexy teens, right? At least in Avatar.
So I'm assuming they built the wooden cell specifically for Toph at CM's instruction (because why would the Fire Nation build wooden cells-- ever?). So does that mean the people of that village know there's an earth bender and water bender hanging around pulling scams?
I really hope they use all these encounters in some interesting way. They're supposed to be completely incognito but now two towns for certain have experienced their bending awesomeness. It really seems like news of this would trickle back to the palace.
Iroh and Zuko were much better at hiding out in the Earth Kingdom IMO.

I have to go with that as well...didn't really see anything shocking but boy do people here have dirty imaginations
Also...it was pretty much clear that CM was running the town since it seem empty...He could have just said to someone build it with no question ask.
Also I do really see difference of hiding out between the gang and Iroh & Zuko but each is different from there own perspective...one is trying to learn about the nation and the other was just blending in kingdom with being wanted on both sides.
Sorry if I'm being rude there mahatista...Just want a conversation ;D

I guess my main point is that they keep doing these very noticeable things and I'm just hoping it gets used later on somehow. It seems like it should be setting something up. But I'm afraid they won't use it at all. Like, why didn't Toph call Katara out on the whole 'Painted Lady' thing? Pretty ironic for Katara to make a big deal out of Toph possibly calling attention to herself when she did something even bigger. I'm glad they got some money out of it though.

Simple, Katara was trying to help a small town in trouble while risking exposure while Toph was scamming people while risking exposure. Especially since scamming people will draw more attention from the law enforcers.

Lucky shot? Or maybe it just made it look more dramatic.

Who knows. Maybe Katara's head phrase messed up his aim a little (that did look very painful), but I think it was a lucky shot. Too bad the Gaang missed it- they could use info like that!

I just thought it was funny that a pebble was what took down sparky sparky boom man! ...Seriously, everytime they said 'sparky sparky boom man' I laughed my head of.

Yeah, I know Sokkam changed his name at the end of the episode, but Aang seemed to really pick up on it! Bring back "Sparky Sparky Boom Man," people!
