Wait, I didn't make the chart... *goes on a long journey in the Spoilers thread to find it* .... .... ..... *comes back disappointed* I searched the thread twice. I remember it clearly though that it was where I was helping Chibi out with understanding the family tree. I forgot whoever was it that made it but give the kudos to that person. Not me. ^___^

you know, the opening? when katara's talking? water-pakku earth-roku's earthbending teacher who's name I forget already fire-azula air-gyatso I think the debate on this a while back ended with the conclusion that the airbender is not Gyatso. I'm 90% sure that the earthbender is supposed to be Roku's teacher, just sans the shirt and stuff. But I'm betting that the creators probably used the opening earthbender as a model for Roku's teacher rather than the other way around.

I thought the earthbender in the opening scene was The Bolder? Anyways, I think they were just remade models like the ones from the intro of the pilot. Not necessary any particular character, except for maybe Pakku. But just generic characters for the opening.

Now that most of the forum is asleep..... I can now put down my indepth analysis of this episode. First off: WOW. This has gotta be the biggest plot twist (probably the only plot twist) in the series thus far. I always knew that Ursa was more than she seemed, and I always had a hunch (even though it hasn't exactly been proven yet) that Ursa was against this whole war. And now I know: She is the granddaughter of Avatar Roku, and her family taught the way of peace and balance among the four nations. I made a theory thread on this, and I really want to know the REAL reason behind Ursa's mysterious disappearance. I won't say my theory on here, so it's on the theory board. Someone said earlier about how the Avatar's animal guides have a habit of dying/getting frozen along the Avatar, and I mentioned that it was very similar to the Tusken Raiders and their banthas relationships from Star Wars. They form a life long relationship, and if one of them dies, the other will go into depression and commit suicide. Now, I won't put this on the theory board as of yet, but seeing Fang curl protectively and lovingly around Roku knowing that the both of them would perish really gave an insight of the the bonds of the Avatar and their animals, and this was evident in not only Aang and his relationship with Appa, but all Avatars. Then it hit me: Does the relationship between the Avatar and his animal have to do with the disappearance/extinction of these spiritual animals? Come on. Think about it. The Fire Nation didn't really have a reason to kill off all of the flying bisons/lemurs. Heck, they could have used them to their advantage. The fire nation could have used the bison as beasts of burden and the lemurs as pets. But no. They're all extinct. And we haven't seen any dragons. Where am I getting at? Well, after Roku, the Fire Nation are the last group of people to be part of the Avatar international pep squad. Anybody in support or is in relation of the Avatar is considered an enemy of the Fire Nation and should be eliminated. And in the first season, they did mention that an Avatar's animal guide is an important part about being the Avatar. Avatar+animal guide = stronger Avatar+ fire nation= no world domination It may not make a lot of sense, but I think that the Fire Nation killed all of their dragons and the bisons to prevent any future Avatar from becoming stronger. (Hm. This theory made a lot more sense in my head. ) Well, anywho... So yeah. I think that after discovering yet ANOTHER side of himself, Zuko is edging closer and closer to truely finding himself. I mean, now he's the [spiritual] descendant of his enemy (hehe. that mean's Aang and Zuko are spiritually related. XD), so I think Zuko is gonna think long and hard about this... ....and of course - just like last time - the only thing that can ruin it is her royal *****iness, Azula. But I hope Zuko will not give into Azula's manipulations any longer. And something in the back of my head told me that a lot of viewers were thinking, Yes! Bald-headed Aangy is back!

Apart from the farting scene, this episode was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The animation was better than usual, I was close to tears when Fang curled up around Roku, it was amazing and awesome and pwnsome... Of course, I was highly doubting that I'd enjoy this episode, which made it all the better. ...and that plot twist with Zuko being related to both Sozin and Roku... Actually, it didn't even cross my mind that Zuko was related to Sozin. ^^; But wow, talk about closely-knit lineage in the Fire Nation! Bwahaha, inbreeding happens a lot there, I assume...But, the question is, will knowing Zuko has such history in his lineage actually change him? I've also found it interesting that Iroh was teaching him about balance now, considering Iroh knew all along that Zuko was related. Iroh spoke! I could tell it was a new voice actor, but I LOVED it. <3 The only thing this episode was missing was an explanation of why there are no more dragons. ;_; 9.9/10!

I hope that i don't sound like a noob by posting this because I may have missed it in the first season, but...
In this epsiode they showed Roku flying towards Ba Sing Se (or I guess that at that time it was NA Sing Se). Anyway I am going to go out on a limb here and say that Iroh was inside ruling, but I wish that they had gone into detail of how Iroh lost the colony. Did Roku go there right after confronting Sozan?

Er.. It wasn't Ba Sing Se. Ba Sing Se is much further away from the sea. And, Iroh can't possibly be rulling inside. Cos', We see Sozin who is about..er.. 60? 70? And Sozin is Iroh's GRANDFATHER So that'll make Iroh about.. 10-20? And we see Iroh rulling Ba Sing Se in "Zuko Alone" when he already had Lu Ten.. And he was kinda old.. So..nahh.. That wasn't Ba Sing Se and Iroh wasn't in it. (But i can't confirm it isn't Ba Sing Se)

I don't if this has been said before-->
So... Roku=Blue Dragon Sozin=Red Dragon Zuko's dream!! He has pick who's footsteps to follow in.
Also, Azula's comment ,"It's never too early to get a sitting with court painter, Zuko." (or something like that) is recognition of Zuko inheriting the throne. She can't be very happy about that. :/
