I just think people are losesing the defention of the word filler or baseing there own meaning toward the word fillier. Maybe we should create a panel of judges to deside once and for all what episode are fillers and what are not. no... lol I don't think we're that desperate. Anyway, people have different definitions of what fillers are. I think that Tales of Ba Sing Se is a filler, but several people would disagree as Momo finds Appa's footprints. Similarly, I disagree that the Avatar and the Firelord is a filler, although it is technically a filler

Personally I don't think any of the episodes in S3 have been filler. I respect however that other Avatarians may disagree.
I've only found one 'scene' but not the entire episode that really felt out of place in S3...which might be viewed as pointless 'filler...'
**WAT SPOILER WARNING**
When Zuko is babbling to himself and frogs in the forest like a freakin' idiot I nearly hurled. I adore Zuko but with nearly three years of character development to be reduced to an indecisive whiner-baby was very disappointing. He had just faced his father and basically put Ozai in his place, if anything Zuko should have been riding high from that victory and should have logically carried that power and passion with him in addressing the Gaang for the first time about joining up. Ack. It seemed extremely out of sync with the rest of the series and if it was an attempt at comic relief, it failed miserably in my opinion.

^ LOL I agree that bit was totally awful
At least There is unlikely to be any more filler episodes this season....
But a filler episode is better than no episode at all....
