Hmm... Oh, I see what I did. I recorded five minutes extra before and after the 8:30-9:00 slot, so I got the whole thing. I recall having the same problem that you mentioned with shows on other networks, so I make it a habit of tacking on a couple of extra minutes to the beginning and end of every show on the "recording options" menu. I guess it's so ingrained in me that I forget that I do it each time... Oops.

^^ That's something we should have done. But they have actually gone a full fifteen minutes early in the past which is beyond obnoxious. That's why we usually record the show prior. Now though I'm going to record the one after as well. They used to do stuff like that every week last season so I've learned not to trust them. Somebody else set up the dvr this last time though. No harm, I got to see the end this morning on youtube. But Nick is indeed evil. Azula evil.

Okay, I don't have the time to read through 20+ pages of posts, so forgive me if this has already been pointed out:
Zukka. There was Zukka in the episode.
Piandao (I think that's his name, the Swordsmaster), told Sokka he should go as "Lee."
Zuko went as "Lee."
And... buaha, if they're both going as each other, they are one and the same, and...
I'll just shut up now. But that's what I thought when Piandao said that.
I loved this episode. It was beyond awesome. ^_^ I have a few nitpicky things, but nothing that hasn't already been said.
^_^ And The Beach looks awesome.

What I don't understand is, why does it matter that Sokka now has an uber cool sword and is training to be a master swordsman? Wasn't his original problem that he couldn't help put out the fire because he didn't have any special powers? Well, being a master swordsman isn't going to make him any more effective at stuff like that. Sure, it'll make him an effective warrior, but he's still going to feel just as useless if another fire comes around. I think the episode would have made more sense if he got his butt kicked in a battle, or something similar. Still, this was probably my favorite episode out of the new batch.

^ I think what matters to Sokka is that he feels important. He learns that he is creative and etc etc. He improves in those attributes and i think he's gonna be creative when another fire comes out. And i think that learning swordsmanship added to his leadership quality.

I can't wait to see Iroh kick the Jailers butt.
And, yeah, if he'd have got his butt kicked in battle, it would have made loads more sense.

I don't know.. I don't think Iroh is preparing to escape from jail.. Just isnt Irohy.. I think hes gonna.. pfft. I dunno..
But, Im sure Ozai / Azula would be smart enough to know that Iroh can escape if he isnt in a high-security jail.. But.. WHY..WHY isn't Iroh wearing cuffs??
Something is wrong..

WooT! Since I don't feel like reading through all 22 pages before me.... [spaz] OH MY GOD SOKKA I LOVE YOU!!![/spaz] This is my favorite ep. so far! I was spazing durring the whole thing. Sokka was so amazing. Aang, Katara and Toph forgopt to mention how without him there would be no invasion plan... eh, but i'll let it slide because of the Tokka. She sooooooooo missed him. Sokka was just so awsome in this episode! It made me love him even more, I didn't even think that was posible ! He really learned some important stuff and now we know that his master really is part of the white lotus. Iroh scared me at first. I though he was actually going crazy. I really, really wanted to kick that fire nation guard in the ß@lls. Thank goodness Iroh isn't actually crazy. Athough when he did take his shirt off and was all muscle underneath that kinda freaked me out.

^but he is contributing. He has been for the past two seasons. He may not know it but he is a big part of the team. Without him it wouldn't be the same. I really hope we see his master again i forgot his name . I think that my favorite part of the episode was when they where fighting in the bamboo and the rest of the fight but that part was the most amazing. And when Sokka painted his pretty picture. Plus Aang, Katara and Toph's reaction when Sokka tells his master that he is from the SWT. Actually that whole entire scene was pretty cool.

Ok, I don't have time to post anything truly coherent right now, but I have to say that "Sokka's Master" is everything that is good about "Avatar." Oh, and Sokka and Iroh are THE pimps. No one else even comes close.
