The Storm aang's part in the storm. when you think about how it would have all turned out if aang hadden't ran away...there would have never been a war. or at least not such a big one. to think that Aang could have saved thousands of lives by not running away.... The Running Away wasn't the problem... He would have been still in the world if he hadn't had to create the Ice Ball that put him and appa into suspended animation if he had Ran away and still been in his own time he would eventually have come into his own as the Avatar... probably just as fast as if he had been sent away ti live with the women in the eastern air temple... also, there is a good chance that he may have been able to travel much like he is doing now, picking up Benders as he skipped around the nations and if he had stayed, there is a good chance that he would have died... which Air Temple was closest to the Fire Nation? was it the Eastern or Western one? yes, he could have gone into avatar mode... but remember, Avatar mode does not equal invencible, a Dead Avatar in Avatar Mode = the spirit of the world no longer having an avatar

The Saddest Scene by far for me was the ToBSS Iroh's Tale scene with him at the Tree
the Second Saddest Scenes have to be the death/transformation/transfiguration of Yue, over the course of the northern water kingdom episodes you come to realize that she is one of the great loves of Sokka's life, if not his Greatest love, and her death leaves him devestated
the Scenes Showing Zuko's History in all of the Episodes are Very sad too its amazing that he is able to find his humanity after growing up like that
the scenes where Aang breaks down are always counter balanced by Katarra being there for him... without her, I wonder how much of the world would have been destroied each time?

The saddest is "Tales of Ba Sing Se". Iroh's tale was the saddest...
IN HONOR OF MAKO.

Either Zuko Alone Or Tales Of Ba Sing Se (Iroh's Tale)
Zuko Alone didn't make me cry, it was just sad.
But I was Balling during Tales Of Ba Sing Se, Cuz Iroh is just so sweet and adorable during the entire thing, and ah...it just hit me like a ton of bricks when he started singing..

i have to say the tales of all the characters (iroh's) was sad, the one when princess yue dies and poor sokka's love died and zuko alone when they told the story about when his mom left and every thing was sad also

Yes, I actually cried when I saw Iroh's story. It was the most heartfelt one on my terms.

Sadest one would have to be Iroh's tale in ToBSS. I cried during the end, especially when he said he wanted to help his son.
It must've been hard, I mean being and living in the city where his got hurt, and on Lu-Ten's birthday, that's rough, but he still even though he was sad, he still helped all those people.
The ending on the tale when it said "In honor of Mako", it just made the episode, IMO, even more memorable and special.

A lot of the episodes wherre sad, the storm, the waterbedning master, well only at that part where Zuko almost died, the siege of the north part 2, at the end when Yue died any everything, Zuko alone, Iroh's tale in Ba Sing Se, Appa's lost days, and at the end of Lake Laogai.

The tribute to Mako in Iroh's tale and Momo's tale in "Tales of Ba Sing Se."

I think the saddest eppie is a tie between Zuko alone and the storm. They are both wonderful Episodes..although very sad. Gotta love the tragic Zuko Eppies!

Iroh's Tale in ToBSS, Zuko Alone, The Storm, and the Southern Air Temple. There were also a few good sad scenes in Appa's Lost Days and the Fury of the Avatar Movie
