1)Zuko Alone Possibly the best written episode of the entire series. Not very heavy on action, but the storytelling and dialogue is top notch. 2)Crossroads of Destiny An episode packed with raw emotion, suspense, and action. And a somber cliffhanger! A very fitting end for Season 2. 3)The Storm Another great episode that's light on action but still amazingly well written. We got a deeper insight on the motivations of the two most important characters on the show. 4)Lake Laogai This episode ranks highly because it really pushed the boundaries of the show, and turned many heads around the nation. A fan favorite was kidnapped, brainwashed, and killed before our very eyes. It proved that Avatar could show traumatic scenes and handle them tastefully. 5)The Blue Spirit Who doesn't love this episode? Great action, well written, and one of the most memorable episodes of Season 1. 6)The Siege of the North Season 1 certainly ended with a bang. Romance, death, and a duel we all were waiting for. Hells yeah. 7)The Avatar State The first appearance (and fight) of Season 2's awesome villain. 8)City of Walls and Secrets This episode gets the nod because it showed us that the Fire Nation isn't the only country that's corrupt. It's another episode that pushed the boundaries of a supposed kid's show, and showed us just how great Avatar really is. 9)The Blind Bandit The episode that gave us the awesomeness that is Toph, before her character started getting stale. 10) The Southern Air Temple Allright, I've been saying this over and over again, but this is the 1ST episode that really set the tone for the series and showed us how different Avatar was going to be from all the other Nicktoons, and American cartoons in general. Great stuff.

Hmm that's a hard one, I had to think about it:
1. The Blind Bandit (Toph pwns!) 2. Crossroads of Destiny 3. The Storm 4. Seige of the North 5. The Blue Spirit 6. Cave of Two Lovers 7. Boy in the Iceberg 8. The Avatar Returns 9. The Avatar State 10. The Waterbending Master
After the first 3, they don't really go in any order, I just like those episodes.
