Avatar,to me is the only meaningful cartoon on nick. it has a good plot line and it isnt like sponge bob where say, something happens and then the next eppi, its like that never happened. i absoulutly HATE that. and everything like on spongebob((i'm picking on spongebob today xDD)) is sooo random. Avatar, accualtley makes sense. it would be horrible if they didnt make a season 4.

There was a thread simalar to this but I think it was more acurate. It said that M&B had a sis season contract so not only would there be a season 4 but a season 5 and 6.

Why do I have a feeling that are legs are being pulled by a rabid pit bull?
I shall treat this like a rumor (like I have to with another series of Rurouni Kenshin V.V) until they give us some concrete proof.
And I hope that if they do make another series, it won't suck.

^I'll look for an article, but the new story arc was brought up in a interview. I just can't remeber if it was mentioned by Mike & Bryan.

i've always hoped for the possiblity of a Book 4: Air. I REALLY hope that we'll get it. Avatar has been VERY profitable for Nick, so they'll try and market it to last as long as possible. Though if they keep going to Book 5 & 6 (what would those be anyway??), it could potentially end up getting old and cliche and spoiling Book 1 & 2
anyway, I really hope for Book 4: Air. Though i don't know if they could stretch out the story long enough to last it. It's quite probably the airbenders would return. I dunno. Maybe Book 4 would be about the next avatar... dunno

I just noticed this on Avatar's list of episodes on wikipedia. Season 4 could be coming! here is why... The following is a List of Avatar: The Last Airbender episodes. Avatar: The Last Airbender currently airs on Nickelodeon. The series premiered on February 21, 2005. It currently ended it's second season and expects a total of 60 episodes with more possible depending on how well the show performs. A third season is expected to be aired in 2007 with twenty more episodes. No way seriously?! What's it going to be called, Book 4: Air? I hope so.

All i ask for is an Air... xD Come on! Show meh teh Airbenders! lol I suppose. Though I think the max we'll get is 4 Books. I'm not asking for any more either. I'm sure the people behind Avatar are all racking their brains trying to figure out whether a Book 4 would be possible, and what would be in it. There might well be one. But it looks like the war is going to finish in Book 3. Aang has his firebending teacher. Sozin's Comet is about to return...

I'm sure the people behind Avatar are all racking their brains trying to figure out whether a Book 4 would be possible, and what would be in it. I doubt it. They've made it clear they have tons of ideas, ideas that happen to not involve the Aang Gaang. It's a big BIG world, and it will continue on long after Aang has grown old and died. Plenty of time for another nation to step up and be evil. Plenty of time for another Avatar to rise. Book 4 could pick up after Aang has trained (or fathered) a new generation of Airbenders hence the title "Air..." or it could even slowly transition from one to the other. After that, I'm not sure what they'd name the books ("Spirit?" "Avatar?" "Chakra?") but there's plenty more story to tell... there's just no more of Aang's story to tell.

Aang's story is the focus of the TV show. That's why it's the "Avatar: The Legend of Aang" or "The Last Airbender". I really hope that if there was a Book 4, it would still be about Aang. An option would be this. Any Philip Pullman fans here? Well he wrote the first three books about the war. That was the actual trilogy. The fourth one- Lyra's Oxford was after the end of the war, and it explained what happened 2 years after the end of Book 3. That sounds exactly like what they could do with Avatar. Have the main bulk contained within the first 3 books, and have the 4th just as an epilogue... of course they'd have to make it interesting. Return of the airbenders sounds very possible.

Well, when u think about it, dare are four elements and each season is named after one of the elements. So. far Water, Earth, and Fire, hich leaves Air(the last AIR bender). So, isnt that a logical reason for a season 4!!!! What yal think??

^ What could they possibly write about? The third season is going to end with Aang defeating the Fire Lord... Although the idea of a prologue as S4 would be interesting but I just don't see how they can do it without overstretching the show's ingenuity or what's left of it.
