Oh true. I forgot FN people and their warped view on the Air Nomads ((The Headband)) and how they were and the fact they've not seen the Avatar like the Earth Kingdom did.

The reason why there are already two "fillers" is because we the fans have been complaining about the season making the creators want to rush. I am just amazied that the Season III Trailer at Comic Con showed only the first few episodes of the season. The rest are only titles and we hardly know the second half of the season.

Well it seem much of the scienfic questions from the season three preview could already be thrown out the trash.
I can't say it a total fillier cause there was added infomation to the plot but it seem much of what we thought was her, but to me it could be like an campain, to try to learn much about and also shows us that there not even close to the capital of the fire nation then we thought.

I still don't consider "The Headband" a filler. Sokka's Master looks like it could be a filler, but it looks like something everyone will enjoy..

True but one thing. Did everyone forget about Sozin's (or is it Sozen, I'm horrible with spelling names sometimes) Comet or is that just me?

I think they care about the the solar eclipse more and with that in the way, the fire nation might not control the the comet

It involves Sokka learning a useful skill, which in this shows means he will probably become a master sword fighter after a day or two of training. That's not filler. This was.

Does any Zutara fans love the idea of The Blue Spirit and The Painted Lady? Both Katara and Zuko have secret identities. Hopefully The Blue Spirit will return later on in the series. Remember we only know what the beginning of Book III is. The last 10 episodes are unknown to anyone.

i don't think this was a complete filler episode. i think we'll see the painted lady again. maybe the next time we see ko (is it spelled ko? that spirit who steals faces there.) or maybe not, but i expect that she'll play some sort of role later on this season, along with perhaps the fire nation soldiers who were displaced, or even the crazy schizophrenic guy. i don't think this episode was as useless as the headband.
that said, the episode was cute. not really much to say beyond that.

I think this is one of those episode that well effect the gang later on. I mean much of season one was like that...until we finish the whole season and then saw differents that each episode brought.

The Blue Spirit will never return. Zuko gave up being him since he threw out the mask in Lake Laogai in "Lake Laogai." I believe that this episode was the equivalent of "The Blue Spirit" and "Imprisoned."

Maybe it was because this was one of the episodes I was really looking forward to, but I was just really not impressed with anything that happened this time around.
The only useful information that came out of this episode was that the eclipes would only last eight minutes, but that could have been thrown in any episode at anytime, so it's not really a saving grace.
I think that we might all be presumptious in saying that this town isn't going to rat out Katara. The crazy guy (who was just plain annoying, I was hoping that they would save that whole lame joke at the end with an actual brother, but no such luck) said that "he" wouldn't tell but his "brother" has a big mouth. And who's to say the other townspeople wont run off and tell the next soldier they see.
If that happens then this episode can be taken out of the filler category. Until then, it can't be anything more than that.
Eeek...high expectations will be the death of me. And even though I knew it wouldn't be about Suki, I still wish we had any info on the Kyoshi warriors.
