Oh yeah. I had forgotten about Kyoshi. But... doesn't it say that the Dai Lee were loyal to Long Feng because he had been the one to take them off the streets and bring them into it when they were young boys? That means that he took over the organization at some point and revamped it to his own purposes?
I know its extremely unlikely that Ty Lee is a member. Liek I said, it was more wishful thinking. lol
And yeah, I agree Sokka is prolly just kind of under the White Lotus' protection or on their list of ppl that should be helped, now that he has that tile. I am just anxious to see it finally come into play.

lol The Crazy Herbalist Lady can be a member, admirality. I can be down with that. XD
Pakku is an interesting idea. He could be, I suppose. He is really the only Water Tribesman we have seen that I could consider a real possibility. We may never know, though. It'd be cool to at least see him again. lol Gotta love that grumpy old man.

I dunno - not allowing women to use their bending abilities to fight doesn't seem like a very enlightened thing to do.

I dunno - not allowing women to use their bending abilities to fight doesn't seem like a very enlightened thing to do. Yep I don't think that Pakku would even join if they let him. So forget him for now. Heres someone who has to be a member Guru Pathik

Hmmmm Guru Pathik? He's a really good possiblilty but I wonder he always seemes like a bit of a loner I don't know if he's too beyond worldly attachments to be concerned with a socity that's purpose seems to be throughly concrned with wordly goings ons...... I dunno I'm a bit 50/50 with Guru Pathik if he was a membr I wudn't be surprised but if he wasn't I wudn't be surprised either

I like the idea of Pathik being a memebr b/c of his connection to Gyatso and just all around interest in balance/enlightenment. I think his helping the avatar proves he still has *some* interest in worldy affairs. Like a general benevolence.
Ofc... he has been waiting at the EAT a long time, since he had that vision that he would help Aang. How involved in a secret organization could he be? lol And if he was White Lotus, you would think that the OWL would have had something to do with getting the message to Aang about the Guru's training, rather than have Pathik randomly run into Appa and use him to send the message.
So yeah... I am more 70/30 for him being a member, but not entirely convinced, either.

I still think that Ursa is a member. It just makes sense to me. Also, I don't think Sokka is technically a member. Just a friend, or something. Basically, if he's in trouble, they'll help. Hmm...I wonder when this will appear in the show again....

Here are the official, really official, we all know that their members list: Iroh Fung (the guy who Iroh met in the desert) Piandao (sword master, if you don't know who he is, your not worthy of reading this)
And now here are the people who could be members: King Bumi - just cos he's the Earthbending equivalent of Iroh. Also, the Order might have some uses of the ruler of a city... Master Pakku - I know some of you dispute this, but he still is one of the best Benders on the planet. Even though he wasn't teaching girls, he learnt from his mistakes, and surely that shows some form of enlightenment! Guru Pathik - He is a beacon of enlightenment. But then again, he's not that useful, seeing that he doesn't have a particular position of power. But he does know quite a lot about chakras... Monk Gyatso - was probably a member before he was killed, and that could be a reason for why he didn't get on with the other high-up Monks. Jeong Jeong - he's sort of like a mixture between Piandao and Iroh, because he has the rough qualities of Piandao and also the kick Equus asinus firebending of Iroh. Bato - it wouldn't be Hakoda because he's already an important character since he's Katara & Sokka's Dad, but the Order would probably have a member in the Southern Water Tribe. And I just love the moment where loads of the good guys are gathered and something happens then someone goes "Order of the White Lotus?", then Bato pushes his way to the front and says "You see...." Bosco - cos he's a bear.
People who definetly aren't: Ty Lee & Mai - for many, many reasons but the main ones are because their too young and naive, and also they don't look like the Pai Sho types.
Dispute whatever you want, for my opinions are supreme!!!!!

Every "old and wise guy" seems to be a good candidate for a WLS member. I hope Jeong Jeong, Bumi & Pakku are members. Those three, comibned with Iroh and Piandao would make a "five men army".

Members include Uncle Iroh, Pian Dow, King Bumi, Joeng Joeng, and Ursa. It's my believe that after Ursa was banished she immediately went to the OWL for protection and has been hanging around ever since. Cant stress enough how important the White Lotus Title actually is, the drawing is seen quite a few times in the series.

I think someone said Pakku is a member of OWL, based on that book thingy (Sozin's Comic) I have a feeling basically all of the good old timers that we only say once or twice is in OWL, and will make their reappearance in the finale. Wouldn't that be epic in the finale to see an A side and B side fight. the Gaang fighting Ozai and his armies, and the OWL liberating Ba Sing Se? How epic would that be... I would like to see the max potential of all the bending elements, because we know the Gaang can't bend as awesome as those old timers with 50+ years under their belts.

From "The Library"
Man: I see you favor the white lotus. Not many still hang on to the ancient ways. Iroh: Those who do can always count on a friend.
The men play the game and form a star on the Pi Sho board.
Man: Welcome brother...
