They were both kinda great, but I like season 2's finale better. Although Koh rocked so hard, this one was more deep. It had better fighting, more cuteness... and I loved that ending. Yay for realisticly bad endings. Everything wasn't perfect, and this one actually had some good lessons. The other one didn't really teach us much of anything, this one kinda helped me learn something or another. Also, we ACTUALLY had a split second of time where Katara and Zuko weren't trying to kill each other. Didn't last long but... oh well. In this one, there was just more going on (actualyl kinda felt like a soap opera...) and was more humurous. And also, Azula rocks. She has more of an interesting personality then I expected. Even though my zutara spirit has been crushed, I loved the season 2 finale. Aww, don't let your Zutara spirit be crushed :[ I'm not giving up on them. From that long talk they had, there has to be something... expecially the way she looked at him on when Aang came to get her from the cave. Even if its not exactly love, I enjoy the freindship between them, just glad that she didn't heal his scar.

Tough choice. Really tough choice.
I pick season two finale, just cause of the level of intensity was pretty...intense.

I voted Season 02. There was more awesome bending, more twists in the plot, and there was Azula. Anything with Azula makes it soooo much better.

I loved season 2's ending, but I voted season 1. Just cause at the end you had a good sense of where everything and everyone was going. At the end of season 2, everything to me is just a big blur. Zuko: good or bad? Suki? Jet? IROH!?!?! AANG AND KATARA? ? ZUKO AND KATARA!?!?!?!?! wtf, dude. lol

Season 2 all the way.
The season 1 finale completely blew me away when i saw it, not as much as season 2 did. But the reason for that is season 2 was much better than season 1, so the for season2, the finale didnt stand out as much from the rest of the season as the season 1 finale did.
Season 1 finale introduced death (twice) to the serie, however the season 2 finale still managed to be much darker and more mature.
However "siege of the north" had one thing "crossrads of destiny" didnt.
Koh the f***in' Face Stealer!

Azula was an interesting bad guy in Season 2, but way more annoying than Admiral Zhao. At least Zhao had clear goals, Azula is just a crazy biatch. And I just prefer straight forward bad guys. We have the complicated bad guy in Zuko.
But the individual bending battles were definitely cooler in Season 2 finale. I have big expectations for the third finale then. Or fourth. Whichever one they attack the fire nation in. All the rebels gather together from around the world for one massive battle at the fire nation capital. Earth, Water, and whichever Air benders that Aang has found versus Fire and their respective armies. Ozai versus Aang, or even better Azula kills Ozai and takes the throne like he killed his own father and its Azula versus Aang in a final grudge match.
Of course that's not how real wars are decided, it just makes for great TV

Season 2, it focus less on the battle and epic Avatar State and more on character development and plot twist. Season 1 was predictable how it would end, Season 2 had me on my feet the entire time.

Season 1 was okay, but it was just way too sad. Season 2 I think had lots of action. There was so much suspense when Aang had to "let go of" Katara.

I actually predicted everything that happened in it until the very end and there was no explaination for the end. It just happened, there wasn't any reason. Like why did Zuko choose the father who betrayed him over the uncle who loved him, why didn't Aang give Katara up sooner and how did he not see/block Azula's attack if he's in the avatar state, and if Katara could get them both out of the cave why couldn't Toph and Sokka join the fight in the Cave?
Toph could have kicked all the Dai Lee's butts at once, she has already. Aang can take Azula and Katara can take Zuko. And IROH was there. He wouldn't fight his nephew but between Iroh and Top the Dai Lee had no chance or between Iroh and Aang Azula was going down. I mean it just makes no sense what happened. I'm not against the outcome but it wasn't logical.
Edit: And Yue's sacrifice made way more sense than Zuko's choosing to join Azula, who he hates. Of course I didn't feel as much for Yue sense she'd only just been introduced but still.

I voted for 2. The season 1 finale was more elegant, but season 2 was more mind-blowing. I think they are just about equal, but since I just saw 2 last night and am still in shock, I guess I'm just partial.
I suspected Zuko was going to do what he did, but I was really hoping he wouldn't. But you just can't ever tell with this show. AtLAB is such a great show because it is unpredictable. I'm always afraid they're going to blow it, but so far they have been great.
