I'm definitely not among the fans of the movie, but it's going to be on Nick Monday Jan 21 at 6:00 in case anyone who hasn't seen it would like to see it for free.

I'll probably tune in to it. I haven't seen the movie yet, and all I've heard is negative comments, but I want to at least see it for my own eyes. By the way, I saw the commercial for The Last Airbender the other day on Nick, and they didn't even mention the cartoon it was based on! You think they would mention that kind of thing, due to the fact it was a Nickelodeon cartoon.

Yeah I kinda thought that was weird too. They even used something about Aang bringing his powers to Nick for the first time. I know they meant the movie, but it still seemed a little off to me.

I caught a bit on it on tv sometime back- and thats the only way it can be endured- in short clips and bits. If anything, its gotten even worse. Surely there are better ways to celebrate President Obama's second inauguration and of Martin Luther King Jr. Day than inflicting this blood-bending torture on yourselves.

Sadly Thankfully I ended up missing it. I did watch several of the Avatar specials they had on Nicktoons that day, and they showed a preview of the movie. My opinion of the preview can be summed up in one emoticon: I think it was best that I missed the movie...

I overheard this movie while I was sleeping and had another odd dream where benders apparently had to pay a subscription fee in order to have access to their abilities.
I even overheard it as either being there with these characters talking or as narrators of the dream.

Wow, paying a subscription fee in order to have access to special abilities? That sounds like a great movie/book idea.
I watched a few minutes of the movie, their version of when Aang freaked out at the Southern Air Temple, but I couldn't stand much more than that.

^Yeah, I didn't watch it since once was more than enough for me. No movie could ever match in 90 minutes what was covered in 20 episodes, but to completely change big portions of the storyline just makes it difficult to endure.

I watched the midnight premiere. And dozed off during that. Then a year or two later tried to watch it again on Netflix, and I couldn't make it through that. then my younger sisters recorded it on our DVR and tried watching it, and i tried watching it over their shoulders. But I feel like the emphasis should be on "TRIED" because I have yet to make it all the way through without being distracted. It's just not good enough to bear. It's not even on the level of being so bad you can make fun of it with your friends. It's just bad....
