Holy HOTMAN, I hope that's legit, because Kya and Bumi look awesome! It did sort of bug me that Tenzin didn't resemble Katara very much, but if these designs are real, then his siblings certainly create a better Katara-Aang blend. Also interesting is that it appears that Kya is a Waterbender and Bumi is a non-Bender...I wonder if he has anything to do with the Rebellion? Also, curses! No mention of Lin Bei-Fong's father except that he's "unknown." We do see Korra's parents' names, though!

That's neat information, I hope we find out if that is true. Surely we will find more out about the siblings as the series progresses. It would be a very interesting twist if Bumi turned out to be part of the Rebellion. Maybe he has resentment for benders because he felt left out being the only non-bending sibling. It would also be a good contrast to Zuko being "good" in a mostly evil family if he was more on the dark side even with parents that are the "good guys"

Seems to be legit -- that image is from a comprehensive review of the first episode by AnimationInsider.net, which can be found here. Sibling-wise, I hope they will appear in the show, and an in-plot purpose would be even cooler. It would certainly be a twist of Bumi was a part of the Rebellion, but at the same time I feel like if the Kataang kids grew up with Sokka around, then Bumi would at least be able to connect with someone to help deal with any non-bending issues he might have. But then again, if his resentment was that bad, even Sokka's charms might not be able to sway him.
His hair certainly gives the appearance of a wild persona and he seems to be wearing a Fire Nation collar so I guess he may have been close to Zuko/assumably Zuko's kids, but his expression seems playful. I guess I personally would rather hope for the best and that they were all good kids, even if the alternative would be more compelling story-wise.

Oh, wow! I certainly hope we get to see them and (if they have any) families later on, but I'm sure we'll get to know something about them considering how much of a gap there is between ATLA and Korra right now (ie, we still don't know about Zuko's mom and stuff, so I'm sure something about the gaang's adult lives will be revealed at some point). Doesn't Kya look a lot like Kida from Atlantis? I wonder how she got white hair like a certain northern water tribe princess's O.o. Bumi looks like King Bumi. I'm hoping their lack of husbands/wives/kids just means that those people won't be in the series and not that they just don't have families though . That would be a little disappointing for me.

KrystalFruit, in response to your comment about Kya: I'm pretty sure the white hair is because of her age--she's no spring chicken.

I am hoping that we get to see the rest of them that would be awesome! And it wouldn't make much sense to show one sibling, but not show any of the other ones. Thanks for the photo! I hope that we get to see the rest of them.

Seems, going by that chart, that neither Kya nor Bumi had any offspring of their own. Which is a shame, since it means that Aang died having never seen any of his grandchildren.

Hm, it maybe, maybe not. The chart is very brief and only introduces characters we're familiar with (aside from Kya and Bumi)... we don't even see who Lin's father is, and obviously Toph had to have shacked up with someone. I'm sure that's not the full family tree, so it's possible that Kya and Bumi had children of their own, but they didn't include them.. in a way, I want the characters that are going to come to play in the series to be a little bit of a surprise, if that makes sense.
On a side note, I'm slightly creeped out by seeing the family trees showing 12 year old Toph and Aang and 14 year old Katara over their middle aged children...

Yes, hilariously agreed. I love this chart, but as the series goes on I'm going to want to know exactly how old Aang and Katara were when they had Kya, assuming she's first because she's on the far left , and how old Toph was when she had Lin. Also, is Korra's mom not wearing a betrothal necklace? Or maybe it's her high-collared shirt hiding it. I hope that the industrial revolution hasn't done away with this tradition!
