So, like, the majority of East Texas has some sort of wildfire. . If any other Texas peeps are out there, stay safe.
In my area, there's a lot of smoke any direction you look, and it's kinda scary. There have been rumors that there are arsonists who started some fires. I dunno if it was them or the gusts of wind that spread the fires, but there are thousands of acres burned.
It's honestly not that big compared to other wildfires that ravaged the other western states a few months ago, but I'm honestly scared. There's fire within a twenty mile radius in any direction. Smoke lingers in the horizon and gives me a really unsettling, uneasy feeling stirring inside me. This is the first time I've been so close to wildfries. D=

Yes, it is really bad. I really wish the rain that's been falling on my head since Saturday would have made it all the way to Texas, but the Tropical Storm did not cooperate. Texas is in dire need of rain! Go wash your car, do a rain dance....whatever it takes. ticc.tamu.edu/Response/FireActivity/lets you keep up with the fires. In the mean time, come up with a plan to evacuate. Select items you must have and those that are irreplacable. Sadly there are sick individuals out there who think nothing of setting a fire in these hard times, dang the consequences. If they are caought, I hope they throw the book at them, because the situation is beyond serious at this time!
