I more likey want to know if these are somewhat homemade...How do you thake these shots then I just watched the episode on youtube, froze the scene I wanted, pushed the 'print-screen' button (which copies the whole page) and cropped the part that I wanted in paint shop pro. I cropped it close to the eyes so that you could see the change in size of the irises better

Okay, I wrote out a whole reply, but I just realized I should ask something first: What do you mean by "too emotional"? Just asking. I'm confused. Zuko's always been emotional to me, borderline dramaqueen. But that's what makes him so intricate and interesting. He has so much drive and angst, all that brooding that he does. It makes me giddy. You mean borderline dramaPRINCE . I agree though. Zuko has always been very emotional. He may be starting to look his part (*cough*emo*cough*), but he's also shown different emotions besides bad ones though in this season. In the first season, he'd only "smile" when it was a "PWN j00" look. In the second season, he smiled a little more, after becoming a fugitive (I found that weird...). He's also much nicer, though that's not an emotion really. Zuko... Avatar's resident DramaPrince

I Still can't get over the fact that the Gaang split up!! I knew they would have to at one point, but it seemed so rushed. And I'm worried about Suki and the Kyoshi Warriors, I hope they're alrite. Would Azula hold them hostage or just kill them?? x.x That would be horrible.... And What about Jet And Long Shot, And Smellerbee? They were under the Lake, and then the lake fortress place was just gone!!
This Episode is killing me, I'm gonna EXPLODE with frustration.

And What about Jet And Long Shot, And Smellerbee? They were under the Lake, and then the lake fortress place was just gone!! It seems more likely to me that the Dai Li just blocked that one particular entrance than that they actually destroyed the whole compound. There are probably other entrances further away from the lake that they could use that the Aang gAang didn't know about, and therefore couldn't show the Earth King. If the Freedom Fighters escaped, they probably would have done so before that entrance was destroyed. If they didn't, they're probably being held by the Dai Li. It seems unlikely that Smellerbee and Longshot would die, since it wasn't really implied (similar to Suki, which is why I think she's alive, too), but I think Jet, unfortunately, is dead. I just can't see how this situation can get a proper explanation, though, with everything else that's going to go on in the finale...

As much as I loved the episode, the characters are getting EXTREMELY overpowered. They pretty much whiped out the entire palace guard without even breaking a sweat... why do they need these bumbling idiots to attack the Fire Nation again? Their navy is probably crippled after the siege in the north and their forces are already spread thin because they control most of the earth kingdom. If they attacked there would be nothing stopping them until the firelord recalls his forces.
But, that's my only beef with the series; the powers aren't relative. In one episode the characters are getting beaten and bruised and in the next they're lifting up mountains only to turn around and get beat up again.
Personally, I think the focus on the three benders is there to juxtapose the power difference with Sokka. Me thinks he will have some sort of breakdown in the future due to the fact that he's such a "behind-the-scenes" guy (even though he's probably the most important member in the group) which will really add to his character.
While I'm not saying I disagree, the episode brought up some clues AGAINST Jet's death.
1: In the "previously" segment, it didn't show anything with Jet in Lake Laogai. I thought it was kind of odd since it was a VERY important scene, but they skipped over it completely.
2: They destroyed the original entranceway. While it's possible the Dai Li captured them, I doubt they wouldn't have escaped before it was sealed. Also, as both Zuko and Long Feng proved, there are multiple entrances into the place.
3: Aang told the Earth King that Long Feng "brainwashed" his friend. The Gaang knew Jet's situation was bad so wouldn't it stack more in Aang's favor to say that Long Feng killed his friend?
The evidence is pretty even right now. Lake Laogai ended on a sad note, but Earth King's lack of information and context clues ended with a positive note.
Meh, 2 more episodes to go. I loved the ending with Azula, Ty Lee, and Mai dressing up as the Kyoshi warriors. I knew that they were going to use them to blackmail the Gaang but I didn't predict that they would actually go incognito and infiltrate the city that way.

While I'm not saying I disagree, the episode brought up some clues AGAINST Jet's death. You do have some good points, I'm not sure how powerful the clues are- I'm not sure this can really be considered evidence of anything, though. The "previously" segment is based on what's relevant to the current episode, not necessarily what's important. Take the segment from Tales of Ba Sing Se, for instance- the conspiracy in the city isn't mentioned at all, and that's arguably even more important to the story- it's just irrelevant to the events of that particular episode. Whether or not Jet's actually dead, that scene didn't have a huge impact on what happened in The Earth King. I guess I just can't see them managing to escape with Jet- they stand guard over him rather than trying to carry him out, and regardless of whether he's still alive or not, he's in no condition to be moving on his own. This kind of suggests that, as long as he's alive, they're not going to leave... and, even if they do try to carry Jet out, it seems rather unlikely that Smellerbee could take on all those Dai Li on her own. This, I'll admit, is really strange. Though, it's strange no matter how you look at it- even if Aang knew for a fact Jet was alive (which he didn't), he still should have said that Long Feng attempted to kill his friend. Why didn't he say it, then? I'm guessing denial.

Sort of. While they do show the hilights of what is important, this episode missed a lot of key details while focusing on the stranger ones. Aang trying to convince the Earth King was certaintly the key point of the episode, they completely left out any information on the Guru and Toph's pursuers. If I were watching Avatar for the first time, I would have no idea who Guru Pathik was or who the guys that captured Toph were. They added in a little on Suki and Azula's fight and that segment appeared at the end of the episode for a good 10 seconds. You'd think Toph getting captured and Aang leaving to see someone would also be important points to hilight if even for a quick second during the "previously on" segment.
They even showed Long Feng getting bit by Appa and they touched on that in the episode with enough detail that anyone who's never seen the show would instantly know what happened earlier.

The Dai Li and the earth nation guards are two seperate forces. The Dai Li are basically Long Feng's personal secret police and they make sure no one in the streets mentions anything about the war. If anything, Long Feng's probably going to start an insurrection using the Dai Li and he'll probably use Azula's infiltration as cover (knowing how crafty that guy is).
