Well... he hasn't actually developed his powers yet. I imagine his next appearance, assuming there is one, will cover that. Even though it was an experimental serum used on him to save his life after he contracted a rare disease from the bite of a green monkey that granted him his powers in the comic, the Martian blood idea works quite well.

New episode... Enjoyed it way more than I thought I would considering I don't much like Superboy...but some really interesting background on him there...and give what Lex can do to him with just two little words...what other post-hypnotic suggestions are in there?
Queen Bee's got Meg...Lex can control Conner...things are not looking good for our team...

Thoughts on Agendas, Insecurity, and something in the latter ep that has me Very Confused. Agendas was interesting, and I agree it was a nice ep for Superboy. It was neat to see more of the League as well; I wonder when we'll find out who they chose to join them. I don't have anyone in mind, but I bet whoever it is, it's going to backfire because of a secret they're keeping. Which at this point is half of the team, apparently.
Insecurities was good insight into Artemis' family ties as well, and such cute Spitfire scenes as well. :3 That ending, though! D: Terrible, terrible. It was good to see Cheshire again (although is it me or does her voice sound different this time around?), and what she said about the mission or whatever not being her choice/call to help with, might mean she'll help the team out later on. The bad guys using robotics to be in two places at once also seems to be an answer to ColdHearted or whichever one it was with all the Ice villains even though they were still in prison.
But it seems like the Light now has at least half the team over a barrel. The mole issue coming up again has me wondering if there's really anything there at all. If it is, we can at least exclude those being cornered by the Light since that would be redundant (unless it's Superboy being controlled by Lex, and Lex only revealed stuff to him in hopes Conner would join him of his own will). But is it possible it was something said to Roy just to spread rumours and help break up the team's trust of each other? Or was it referenced by Light themselves? I can't remember anymore.
Something else that I am Very Confused About is what a not-so-friendly neighborhood webslinger is doing in Star City. Spider-Man is Marvel IP, so how can DC have a bad guy version? Wouldn't that be like Marvel creating Bizarro? Or is this kind of comic copycatting common, and I just haven't run into it before?

About the...um...bad guy... That was Black Spider...he's been around since 1976, though this version has been tweaked quite a bit to so very closely resemble a certain rival company's web-slinger (he's also voiced by the same actor who most recently played him in animated form...a series which shared the creative genius of Greg Weisman). He has already appeared in the Young Justice comicbook series, though he was up against Robin, Kid Flash and Aqualad there, in a story set before Artemis joined the team. They obviously never told her about him.

Aah, I see. Thank you for the info! That's pretty funny that he's being voiced by Spidey's latest voice actor, and the connection to Weisman as well. I'll have to check out that show then, Spidey is one of my favorite superheroes. It's interesting to see a villain version of him though; I guess I'll look more into Black Spider as well.

OMG! Way too early for YJ Robin to change into those duds...but it look legit. Future tense episode? Time skip?
And according to Ask Greg...Season Two Episode One airs 28th April...no break between seasons? And it features Mae Whitman! As a possible new addition to the team that they wanted to use from the beginning but couldn't due to some legal issue. New Korra. New Young Justice. Curses my having to work all day tomorrow! EDIT Trailer

Where's Artemis? I know Greg said not all the characters from Season 1 will survive but I hope Artemis does.
In other news, Superboy and M'gann broke up. Angst.

It'll be interesting to see which catalyst they use to explain the evolution from Robin to Nightwing. There are a few. DC can't seem to make up their minds. I'm a big fan of the disillusioned twig's punch to Batman's face telling him to shove it and disappearing for a year of soul searching and butt kicking training scenario myself. At least they skipped the gawdawful Elvis-inspired original Nightwing costume and went straight for the classic streamlined black and blue.
Hope they shed some light on the arrival and departure of team members too. Some interesting new members, though. Tim Drake Robin...Wonder Girl...Batgirl...Beast Boy (who remains as adorable as ever)...should be a wild ride.

Aww. Is there any word on if this timeskip is permanent, or just a special/season to explain the League's missing 16 hours? As wonderful as it is to see more additions like Batgirl, Wonder Girl, and Beast Boy, I miss the old set up. Not to mention where's Wally, Artemis, and Kaldur. I hope they're just being saved for a later episode. Hope hope hope. D: If the show's not going back, I assume the Roy clone issue will be addressed somewhere in this timeskip as well, or maybe they're saving it for the comics? It's too bad M'ggann and SB broke up, but likewise I guess it'd be surprising if they were still going out. Five years would be pretty serious! But I suppose everyone has to be in some amount of drama on this show. Though I was so happy to see the team trusting each other a few episodes earlier. aw.

I don't like how twig's voice still sounds like he's 13. I always imagined him with a deeper voice by the time he's nightwing.
As far as the timeskip, WHERE'S THE REST OF THE OG YJ? I wouldn't be surprise if they did a time travel reset on this at the end of the season, unless this is the last one.

He got pretty angry. I guess that happens when the love of your life dies on a mission.
But his father is so calm...
Edit:
So, Jade and Roy? Artemis and Flash in Standford U? I'm happy now.

Oh man, I can't believe I haven't posted in this thread since forever because YOUNG JUSTICE IS TAKING OVER MY LIFE! Just a few quick thoughts on the latest episodes: Salvage: - Learning more about Blue Beetle - Roy’s intervention. I loved the “A clone with anger issues but. 'Hey, remember Superboy.'” - Sportmaster’s mystery partner. WHO ARE YOU? I love the suspense. - More signs of Conner’s growth. He studied the JL’s history. The old him wouldn’t have done that. He’s become more than the brawns. - Jade and Roy! AND LIAN! - Last: WALLY AND ARTEMIS! ARTEMIS AND WALLY! SHARING AN APARTMENT! ATTENDING COLLEGE TOGETHER! OWNING A DOG TOGETHER! I’m really glad at least one of the S1 couples survived. But omg, they are so cute together! I want to know the dog’s name, seriously. And I love Artemis’s hair this way. It’s different but still long. Never liked the short hair headcanon that was floating around before, sorry. Beneath: - SLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURP! - I really liked the Alpha Squad. Girl power! - Shipping Cassie/Babs hard now. - I love how Barbara is as big of a troll as Robin. - Lastly I liked the focus on Jaime. He's so sweet. And the arguments with the scarab were hilarious. Bloodlines: - Really loved loved loved this episode! Just everything! - BART ALLEN; so much fun! "LIMBO TIME" - Poor Wally with the "Yeah, lap me I'm used to it." - The apocalyptic future! Loved that cliffy. Really love this show! I still wanted another season with the original team when they were younger but Invasion is so much quality that I'm less upset. There's still fanfiction. And in case you guys care, I've made a ton of picspams on tumblr. Even a few fanarts. I'll link you guys: The graphics. The fanart.

HOLY SHHHHIIIITTTT I really loved "Bloodlines", The Flash has always been my favourite DC hero. And to see all 4 of them together in a scene really brings a tear to my eye.
The cliffhanger was really...whoa... And there's one thing i'm (Sort of?) bothered by. - Wally West is supposed to be the fastest Flash but he's being out-lapped? :/ But then again, comics/tv series difference..so yeah.
Really enjoyed this episode overall. I think the storyline is pushed even further and now in more than one direction (The Light/post-apocalyptic future)
