The series follows the lives of teenaged heroes, who are members of a covert operation team — called Young Justice — founded by the Justice League as a secret weapon against the forces of evil. The team consists of Aqualad, the 16th year old protégé of Aquaman. Kaldur was selected as leader, despite having no desire to have the title, has accepted until Robin is ready to fulfil his destined role as leader. Robin, Batman's sidekick, is the youngest of the team (at age 13) yet has the most experience. He is best bros with Wally West, aka Kid Flash, who is the partner of The Flash. They are also aided by M'Gann, Martian Manhunter's niece and Artemis, the apprentice of The Green Arrow. Last but not least there is Superboy, cloned from Superman, who must come to terms with his identity and learn to control his powers. So far 9 out 26 episodes have aired and I really like it. Robin, KF and Artemis are my favourites (kinda lol since Batman, Flash and Hawkgirl were my favs in JL and they are so similar) and shipping-wise I like how they are setting up KF/Artemis. I also wonder what they're going to do with the fact that Artemis is going to attend Robin's high school, courtesy to the old Bat ofc. I wonder who else have watched it and what your thoughts are. edit: changed the banner

I adore this show, ha ha! I don't really follow superhero tv shows ...Except Teen Titans and Smallville, erp, but I really like how this show takes place in its own, canonically-undeveloped universe, so all the complicated and confusing time-line stuff doesn't necessarily apply to it. I like how they're writing/portraying the characters as well, and the episodes move at a nice speed. I also like that the villains keep mentioning that they're fighting children, because it's kind of terrible and shouldn't be glossed over. So the fact that this show keeps pointing that out is interesting to me, and might play into something later on. Wally, Robin, and Artemis are my top favorites, but I like everyone else too. I'm afraid my perception of SuperBoy has been slightly overtaken by his Twitter Counterpart though, so it always throws me for a loop when he speaks in a complete sentence in the show. xD;; Or not have a problem with doors. Shipping-wise, I like how they're developing Wally/Artemis, and Megan/SB has been cute too. I'm looking forward to more answers or intrigue regarding Artemis' past though, and whoever the possible Light mole may be. I have some theories, but I really like this group dynamic so I'll be sad to see any of them leave. Apparently the new episodes won't start airing until June, though? That's kinda too bad, although I guess the Avatar waits were much longer.

Omg! I can't believe I'm not the only one who watches this.
SO MUCH TO SAY! Undying love for Superboy, Cheshire is my favorite character, and she looks like Azula/The Shadows leader looks like evil Iroh, and Artemis is win.

@jade - Oh, your favs are the same as mine. :3 I like the others, too, though I don't really like Megan's catchphrase. The "Hello Megan!" is in every episode at least once and it's getting annoying real fast. Couple of times would be better. Despite that I do like her, she's sweet and adorable. But I like Artemis more because she's totes HBIC. SB/Megan is indeed cute. Last episode was such a shiptease between them. With KF/Artemis, too, but not as much as with SB/Megan. June? That's still such a long wait, bawww. Allegedly the network pushed to show the first 9 eps already even though the other eps were still in production. Oh well, we can manage to wait a few months (fanworks help), even though Artemis's past, the Light and their mole make me so curious. May I ask what your theories are? And yeah, it's good that they keep mentioning that they're fighting children. Horyo - Cheshire is awesome! She's so BA and she does resemble Azula, like that evil dude looks like Iroh. Maybe the writers watched A:tLA?

Ha, we must have similar taste in character types, then. ^^ And yeah, I know what you mean about the "Hello Megan!" thing. Sometimes it works well, but less would definitely be more. I otherwise like how they're writing her though, that she isn't just the bubblegum girl. And haha, that last episode totally was. It's going to be interesting how they handle the ships from here out. I'm kind of hoping that it will continue to be a sub-plot sort of thing, or balanced in a way that it doesn't overtake everything else that's going on. Or drop it completely, because I hate it when shows ignore stuff that they've previously set it up. Oh wow, so that's why there's a wait, because the other episodes aren't finished yet? Huh. I can kind of see why they'd want to air all those episodes first though, to keep the interest high so it would be a bigger hit/wouldn't fade away. And yes, lovely fanworks. <3 There's been some really nice ones on DA. I haven't checked for new ones, but these are some I liked. Theory, theory~ The show seems to be pointing that there's something amiss about Arti -- from how Wally continuously asked "Who are you?" in her first ep, her saying "step into the light" to Roy at the end and him stating that her identity is a fake, and that her intro episode is called "Infiltrator." I think she's a red herring though, perhaps joining the team to find out who the real mole is. Whatever her connection to Cheshire is though, I think that's mostly unrelated to this other issue. The way Roy acts sometimes makes me think that he may be an informant to the Light because of bitterness towards the JL, but at the same time I don't think he would put his friends at risk like that. And similarly, I don't think any of the kids would purposely betray the others for the Light. However, Superboy was created for the Light, right? It's possible that he still has some sort of connection to them, and might be transmitting information to them without even being aware of it. From a story-point, I think it would most affect the group if it was him, because he's the most dangerous to fight and would give the most emotional backdraft because of how the boys rescued him in the opening episodes and how everyone else befriend him along the show. And wow, that guy does look like Iroh. I can see the Azula vibe with Cheshire too, although she also reminds me of Sheena from Tales of Symphonia. Maybe it's a ninja assassin thing. ^^; But yeah, it's possible there was an Avatar influence.

Aaaaaa this show. I absolutely adored Teen Titans, so I have been meaning to see it. Except college. But I'll start when I get home and have decent internet.

@jade - I guess we do. ^^ Megan is indeed more than the bubblegum girl. I actually see her as the mother of the group since she cares about them a lot. Oh, I like those fanarts. So going to save them. I also liked this one and this because I totally love their bromance. I'm actually planning on writing a fanfic on those two, based on Barney Stinson's Bro Code. I'm also busy with an icon dump of the ep Bereft. And since I can't do the spoiler tags, Jade, if you want you can edit spoiler tags into my post, though, I'll warn here that the rest of my post is spoilers: I think your theory might be right. I too suspect Batman and Green Arrow added Arti to the team to find out who the real mole is. I do wonder what her connection to Cheshire is, though. I doubt Roy is the mole. It'd be too obvious with the way he acted in the beginning. I do think he'll join the team later on. The mole can be someone outside of the group. Black Canary and Red Tornado are options as well. I found news on the next episode, btw: Friday, June 3rd, 2011 at 7:00pm (ET) - "#10 Targets" -- New! Red Arrow’s battle to prevent the League of Shadows from inciting a war, pits him against the world’s most dangerous assassins – and allies him with someone more dangerous still. Too bad Aqualad couldn’t convince him to ask the team for help… source

Aww~ That first fanart is so cute! The second one is great too, I love action-y fanarts like that. And yes, KF & Robin's bromance is awesome, I love the shenanigans they probably get into. xD Them plus The Bro Code sounds hilarious, you totally should link it when you finish it. Icons too! (And yeah, I always forget if the code is (spoiler) or (spoilers) so I always have to edit an old post to find out. XD But I found a code to put it in the main Reply icon bar, so now everybody can just click the button on bottom-right row to get the code. ^^) Hm, maybe Cheshire is connected to Arti's parents somehow, what with the ninja comments Arti made in Bereft? Like, maybe they were all a part of a group or something, before Arti and her mom left? But yeah, Roy's probably too obvious to be the mole either. I didn't consider that any of the adults could be the mole too. They made a fake Red Tornado before, maybe someone else has been replaced too. That'd be spooky. xD Ooh, the new ep sounds interesting! Hm, someone more dangerous still... I wonder if that will be Cheshire or someone new.

Yes, I totally picture them being each other's wingman when it comes to hitting on a girl (all those tricks from Barney in himym flash through my mind, lol) and I can really see KF thinking of the Bro Code as his Bible. And of course them pranking other's the old fashion way. I definitely will. :3 Oh, thanks! <3 Before when I posted it the black didn't show. Idk why that was. But using the code now it works! Oooh, I hadn't even thought of that. That could be Cheshire's connection to Arti. And yes, it would be spooky indeed. I'm glad it's finally a Red Arrow-centric ep. And most seem to theorise the someone dangerous is Cheshire. Maybe that way RA finds out more about Arti and the connection to her.

Hahaha, those two would be a dangerous pair when they got older. XD And yeah, KF would totally be a devout follower of the Bro Code. Although I don't think he would need Barney's Top Gun/astronaut tricks as much -- being a superhero is already a pretty good card to play. xD
And yay! That's weird it didn't work then though... was it in the Preview mode? I notice the spoiler code never works in there for some reason.
And yeah! It'll be nice to have some attention on Roy again. He hasn't been seen since Infiltrator, right? But that would be great if he found out more about her, plot-wise and more-info-for-us-wise. If he does though, I'd be curious to see if he confronts Arti again, or would even tell the rest of the team about it. Although if he is being aided by Cheshire, maybe he would trust Arti more rather than less. No, wait, it would probably just be less, wouldn't it.

Jumping in on the thread! Haha I actually really like this show. I have a soft spot for DC animated shows (JL, JLU, Batman Beyond, etc) and I'm happy to be able to add this to my list of faves. There's been some new developments from Comic-Con so I thought I'd share! FROM LEFT TO RIGHT: Ocean-Master, Vandal Savage, Count Vertigo, Queen Bee, the Joker. FROM LEFT TO RIGHT: Hugo Strange, Monsieur Mallah, Brain, Zatanna, Rocket, and Wolf I'm really excited to see Zatanna joining; I think she'd be a fun addition to the team. I don't know really anything about Rocket so I'm more neutral upon seeing her. I really hope that we get a Wonder Girl joining since she's cleared to show up now. Personally, I hope it would be Donna Troy if I could choose.

Love this show! ^_^ Inspired me to dust off my brain and start writing fanfics again after a long hiatus.
My biggest interest is in the "I'm not the father" scenario playing out between Clark and Conner. Wondering how that will pan out later on.

Looks like the new episodes are finally airing! "Targets" aired tonight, and TV Guide says next Friday's episode will be new too, titled "Terrors." (Superboy and Miss Martian go undercover in a prison for supervillains.) SB and Megan were too adorable in Targets, so it'll be fun to see them take on this prison in the next ep. I hope the B-story will be plot-stuff brought up in Targets, though. More Roy would be nice too, but that's probably a long shot. *brick'd*
@rachel, Yay! And yeah, I hope their interaction gets more time. Clark's gotta work past the awkward avoidance stage eventually, though I guess it may have to be something major mission-wise to jump-start them talking.
@ Empy, Oh cool, thanks for posting those! But oh man, Joker's in there? Oh that's going to be scary. I wonder how many of the others are going to show up in next week's prison ep. They have cool designs though, I especially like Queen Bee's. I don't understand Wolf though, is he/she like an Animorph? Google keeps bringing me some other character.... unless that is the same character. -_-; Yeah. Nevermind. But yeah, Zatanna would definitely make things interesting if she joins the team.

I literally found this show last night. I was downloading the fourth season of Batman: The Animated Series from iTunes and as I was waiting for it I searched the 'net for Nightwing (my favourite DC hero who made his animated début in that season) and came across this new, obviously-from-an-animated-series design of Robin...and then stayed up all night watching the series on...well...the only way I could seeing as it's not currently airing in Australia...but I'll be on the look out for its début on our Cartoon Network...or DVD...whichever comes first... As I said, Nightwing/twig Grayson is my favourite DC hero so I can't help but adore Robin (played by the guy who could have been live action Zuko). I love his spooky, echoing, disembodied laugh and his continual disappearing-reappearing act (and I so want a holographic wrist computer like his!) Wally's a hoot too...my favourite version of the Flash...though I can't honestly say I dislike any of the Team. I'm looking forward to Home Front...I really hope our two non-powered heroes get to truly shine

Sorry to double post...but about the mole and theories regarding him or her... ...the way I see it...it could be any one of them... There's the Superboy theory...a good one seeing as he was created by the series' Big Bad and has had a lot of programming done to his head... Clones obliviously exist, and though Robin destroyed the tanks containing their DNA, some of it could have been salvaged or obtained by another means. Any of them could have been replaced by an exact replica off camera...and with Robin's continuous disappearing/reappearing acts he's a highly likely candidate there...as could be Kid Flash with his zooming off ahead of the others... Though not revealed yet...we've met two of the team's fathers...Aqualad's and...if they go with the comicbook origins, Artemis' (and going on the tie-in Young Justice comic it looks like they are)...both of whom are well and truly on the dark side... And then there's Miss Martian...who...in the comics at least...is not a Green Martian...she's of a more pallid kind...and as the discrimination against the White Martians has already been brought up... Though there maybe a clue in the cover of the second DVD release...
