Aww, Milla... I can see why she would like it concept-wise, though not quality-wise. I hope someone introduces her to the cartoon; she'd probably like it a lot.

She was probably trying to be nice in light of all the kid actors and kids out there. No, the only impressive bending was how all the life was sucked out of the movie. Im not comparing it to the series and actually made an effort to treat it as a stand alone movie. It still put me to sleep half way through. It made Waterworld seem like Star Wars. Im sure I must have watched worse movies in the past couple of decades but the sheer horror of this has even drowned the Lady in the Lake for me. If Milla gets a part in the sequel, I really hope its as Alice so she can bulletbend all the zombies in the cast and the production team out of their misery.

I think I could see her liking the concept, like Jade said. The idea of there being benders of the elements is a cool idea.
But also, I think it would have been tacky if she had said, "It was the suckiest movie ever. To heck with M. Night Shyamalan."

Wow...I'm really happy that she liked The Last Airbender, because maybe it will get her to watch the tv show. I personally think the movie sucked beyond belief, but everyone has their opinions I guess.
