I'm friken pumped Basco's coming back as a new character.
Now my thoughts on the series in general:
status as a miniseries:
I like the idea, I always hated fillers in this show (Nightmares/Daydreams, G divide, etc) which is part of the reason why 2nd season is my favorite in the show. Since a miniseries will have no fillers, I'll always be excited for whats coming next. since in the 3rd season i was like, "seems like next episode will be a katara episode" I hated that, I don't like predictability. Also, most miniseries have 1hour- 11/2 hour long episodes. I have no idea if this is true for legend of K, but thats what I hope.

Setting/ time period: As it takes place in an enourmous city, it allows for alot of mature topics. Racism might be a big one, where one nation may be put below others (likely fire nation, perhaps the wounds have still not healed.) Also, the non-bender movement seems like a great plot idea, as the lines between friend and foe are less clear (also a theme of season 2)

All in all, I'm loving it so far

Could Korra have learned Firebending from Zuko!?

And it doesn't look like she is bending in the sketch. Maybe she has to prove that she is still in charge even if she doesn't use her bending powers.

^ I dont see why Firelord Zuko would have ended up teaching Korra. Zuko never claimed to be the best firebender by a long shot- it was just his destiny to help Aang defeat the Fatherirelord. Unless he has a bit of Guru Pathik's longevity, age would be a factor too.

^ Um Isnt that exactly what you posted back in November (hence my response comment on 18 November)? If AvatarSpirit has only posted it now, I guess you got the scoop on them.

Edit: Just visited Avatar Spirit. Looks like they got one of Dante's tweet/blog entries but not the one you referred to saying that the character Dante will be playing definitely has something with Zuko.
