I said it was fair. Just fair. The chakra part showed alot of spiritual developement in Aang, but I felt it took up too much time in the first episode. Toph being a metal bender was just plain cool and Sokka finally seeing his father in 2 years was nice. Now here's what made me mad. Zuko. His new happy additude was cool and I thought when the fight happened he would join the gaang. But he was stupid and betrayed Iroh. I hope he redemes himself in season 3 or I'm gonna...umm...I want him to join the gaang so bad!

I can't see why so many people are complaining about these episodes. They were amazing. Zuko is just someone we will have to take in stride. You remember that he still looked comtemplative at the end of Crossroads. This isn't set in stone; nothing really is in Avatar. That's what makes it so great. Zuko still has a ways to go. Besides, the bending was spectacular!

Incredible episode! I loved every minute of it, I can't wait for Aang to start using the avatar state. Also I was P.O. when Zuko turned because things were really starting to look up for him...but then he had to turn his back on the ones who really cared about him. I'm with lastairbender on this one. I will never give my trust back to Zuko after what he did in this episode.

I voted good. The fight scenes were amazing and there was a good dose of comedy to even out the angst. But, I am left in a tormented state because they completely changed Zuko's character over the whole of season 2 and then had him team up with Azula!!!! Why the hell would he do that? He hates her! As well, so much was left unanswered...which I suppose is what a season finale is supposed to do so that people tune in to the premire.
Otherwise, I would have given it a great (9.5) instead of a goos (8.5). I still loved it, though

Had to vote spectacular because of the bending and humor moments from Toph, Ty Lee, and Mai. My favorite part was when Toph was skating on the earth but then fell...funniest moment in Avatar history!

For the mostpart, spectacular. Though in the first part Aang seemed to let go of all his blocked chakras a little too easily, but I guess they didn't enough time to dedicate to that aspect alone.

im surprised to see that there are a lot of spectacular votes...people say that they hated Zuko for his betrayal and that should be enough to lower the rating...but thats just me

SPECTACULAR!!! It surpasses the scope of the average cartoon by far. It had an unexpected twist that completely shocked me. Although Zuko completely betrayed Iroh, Katara, and millions of fangirls worldwide, I still believe that he has a chance to redeem himself. It left all questions of a possible relationship between Katara, Zuko, and Aang left unanswered, and even opened the door to the possibility of Kataangowhich is strangely satisfying. I loved every moment of it!

^I think that's one of the reasons I chose 'spectacular'. I hate what he did, hope it's a plan of his, and was sad to see the disappointment in Iroh's face. But plot twists that deeply affecting is what makes this show amazing and exactly why I continue watching it. If I could guess everything that was going to happen it wouldn't be half as interesting. The creators have done their job beautifully.

I said it was 'Great!' It was okay...not exactally how I hoped it would end tho. 119 and 120 they won in the end but this time, it's a major cliff hanger.

Meh. It was OK. It just didn't meet my expectations. The whole time I thought that it could top off the Season 1 finale. Everything in SOTN was at a good pace and it was never rushed. But the pace was rushed in this Season finale and then, there was a lack of seriousness to and more romance and drama.
