The website has been updated with an awesome soundtrack making me build anticipation for this movie and the summer. If you go to the partner's page, you could see what appears to be the new fictional written language. www.thelastairbendermovie.com/

I know! Once I heard the score samples, I was in awe.

Their written language sure does look oriental.

Nice find!
Here's a question: who's the dude in the Earth Kingdom wallpaper under downloads?
I wish the score samples were more extensive, but the background art for the synopsis page sure is impressive!

The guy you're referring to is Earthbending Father perhaps.

Their written language sure does look oriental.
Which makes me wonder why the heck they just didn't stick with Chinese. (?!?)

Why spend all that time making up new symbols for a fake language that looks really similar to existing Asian pictoral languages? Just stick with the Chinese used in the show! Heck, the cartoon did most of the work for you already!

They were going to make a fictional language for a fictional world and I hope they put out a dictionary of some sort so I could study and learn how to write it.

That doesn't make any sense. The fictional world already has a written language, and that written language just happens to be Chinese. Or am I wrong, and this movie exists in a different fictional world than the one that was in the series?

It certainly makes it easier for me to like the movie that way.
