Mkay, Thought I'd start a depressing Role Play...... Heheheh, boo me, in a way. Let's see, this shall be the plot: The world is ending. The Fire Nation is slowly gaining control, and almost has it, after the capture of Ba Sing Se. People are dying every minute, and every month, hundreds--no, thousands-- become captive. There houses are burning, their resources polluting. The Fire Lord is becoming more sadistic, and the rebels slowly lose heart, their leaders killed. The Avatar is no where to be found, and the Fire Nation has proclaimed him dead at their hands. The world's last hope is in the form of one group- The Recreationals. Started by a teenager in the Fire Nation three years ago, this group of rebels is comprised of four divisions. Other(ANR),Water(WTR), Earth(EKR), Fire(FNR), and Air(ATR). Yes, Air. The Recreationals found the Airbenders who survived the attacks one hundred years ago. Every week, they sneak into prison camps, recruit and save prisoners, and destroy Fire Nation equipment and storage supplies. Will it be enough to destroy the Fire Lord, even when one of their number is captured? And when the Recreationals find out a breath-taking secret, how will they use it? Are they prepared to die for their cause? Wooooooow long. Yeah, and when you guys fill out your Ocs, you will also need to say what position they have. The positions we need are like 5 Head of ____ Divisions, Spies, coordinators, etc. Also, your Oc needs to be 13-30 please. And if your gonna cuss, USE DA * OR I'LL HAVE YOUR HEAD! Oh, and my Character is Kagoshi, and she's the one who started this. She's Recreational head.Thats all. -Love shower Pitch!Sakura, out ^^!

Alright then, lets give this a try!
Name: Nashk “Eihei” Tategami
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Nation: Earth country
Bender: Earthbender, Average skill, able to move forward if he ever attempts to.
Appearance: His hair is light brown-- hazelnut if you will-- shoulder length, unruly and unkempt. He has a single green eye, as bright as any emerald. His skin is tanned dark, acquired from many long naps under the sun. Covered in faints scars of cuts and bruises, his skin tells a story of hardship and achievement. He is a muscular mass of 6' 1'', Little in the way of body fat, though his broad shoulders more than make up for it. He had once weighed himself via a health inspection for a militia. (Weighed in at 288 lbs, using a simple system using a set of stones and boulders to determine his weight class.) His lips are rather large, and when smiling his teeth shine a brilliant yellow.
His winter clothing consists of a large brown cloak, beat up, dusty, and well worn. It practically hangs off his shoulders. Large well worn black boots, it has been patched sloppily many times by his weathered hands. On his hands, light brown gloves of leather protects them from the stinging cold. (Also gives him an edge in a snow fight or two.)
However, while the sun remains high baking the earth, he wears a light blue tattered tunic, and a pair of brown trousers, lightened with the dust of the summer time. For his footwear, if its not winter, he Usually stays barefoot. Though for politeness sakes, he will wear simple cobbled shoes if he enters someones home.
Personality: Nashk is calm and gruff, a constant air of weariness washes over those around him. However, that is simply him tired of the constant troubles that seems to flow constantly in and around the various villages of the large and war weary earth country. He is a hard worker of unwavering spirit, once given a job, he will work till either the task is done, or his body fails him. Often leading people to judge him stubborn, and not without merit either. In battle, though he is a decent earth bender, he prefers a spear combined with brute strength to make his enemies fearful, routing them from the battle. However, if it most advantageous, He will use earth bending to full extent. Again preferring to use his strength, he will usually go with augments to his body, such as rock hands or pushing a wave of earth on his enemies. Absolutely overwhelming them before they can do any harm.
Nashk is quiet, while he will answer honestly if questioned. He is not one to start a conversation or talk in general unless curiosity burned within him like the force of a fire bender preparing to bend the sun itself. An example of this would be when as a teen, he would gather near the back of groups conversing, before asking rather loudly in that booming voice of his, who would be married to whom or what dark force was scaring them so much. Nashk, while one who looks intimidating, would never betray one he calls a friend. Nor would he allow said friend to stand alone in battle.
History: Nashk has a rather jumbled history, as his father was a skilled blacksmith of comical shortness, and his mother was a merchants daughter with considerable knowledge in the art of conversation. Now his parents had first met during the harvest festival. This festival simply celebrated the beggining of the fall, and the arrival of the desert merchents. Nashk's father was selling his various wares, using his lack of height as a sort of sales pitch, when Nashks mother appeared. Her father had never liked her, as he had a son to continue his buisness. So of course when the chance to rid of her through marriage was offered, he accepted instantly.
A year later, Nashk was born into a happy and hardworking family. His parents immediately began to teach him discipline. His father having him hammer away at useless chunks of metal into perfect squares until Nashks himself learned humility and hard work. His mother had him sit in the night hours reading away at scrolls until his vision blurred. At the age of six he had first discovered his ability to bend. He found he could make pebbles turn to sand as he grew angry, and had begun to practice swirling them around. His parents approved of the fact he was a bender, and he could practice as long as kept to banging squares and reading scrolls.
In the years to come, with his parents molding him for the outside world, he grew. Being unnaturally tall from a father so short, he was made to work twice as hard. With his muscles growing, as well as his mind. He began to look towards the outside world.
At the age of 12 he was taken to the city square for a festival. A simple festival made to ease the stress of wartime weariness. However, it was at this festival Nashk made a mind blowing discovery, there was a lot of people. At first he didn't notice, however as soon as he gazed upon the crowed gathering quickly in the town square, he felt odd. Until then he had seen only a small portion of the world. A tiny village with little trade or visitors. Now however, with the crowd growing to the hundreds, he freaked.
It was at that moment he felt he was small, not a growing giant. Every moment of he had thought of leaving his village was washed away, leaving a shaken husk of a boy.
However, as most young men do, he recovered. Eventually he got over the shock, he was able to leave his room again. But from then on, he never stayed close to crowds. Gives him the willies he said.
He first used his meager bending skills in battle at the age of 16. A brash group of young earth soldiers had stopped in his village to rest and resupply. To pass their boredom, the soldiers were having contests of strength and will. Interested and eager to test his strength, he had approached the camp, (slowly) and asked if he could join. Amazed by his size, they accepted. Eager to see if this giant of a boy had any strength in him.
So, Nashk was pitted against a relatively amateur bender much like him, in a contest on who could hold their boulder up the longest and to see if they could push it against each other. Facing the small man, Nashk was nervous.
With a shout the contest began, the ground rumbled slightly as each stomped the ground raising their fists up wards. The boulder levitated shakily, it was vibrating badly as each tried to enforce their very will upon the stone. Nashk was losing at first, slipping back wards by the force of his opponent. Gritting his teeth, Nashk pushed. Slowly the boulder inched to wards his opponent. Right as it was about to cross over the line signifying victory, it boulder shattered, sending fragments of stone and dirt showering both Nashk and the rest of the camp.
Feeling as though he lost, Nashk hung his head in defeat. He bowed to his opponent thanking him for the match, as his father had taught him and tried to leave. As with most cliche however, Nashk was asked to stay. “It was you amazing strength that shattered the boulder! If I had let go, it would have flew all the way to the fire nation, I know it!”
It was those words that had inspired him to join the military against the fire nation. He felt no particular hate towards the fire nation, however he had finally found a life that encouraged him. So he talked with his parents, and through much argument was allowed to leave. Though he did get his first scar that way. (scratch across his face, his fathers hammer.) And traveled with the military, training constantly in weapons and earth bending. Eventually gaining a reputation for his size, strength, and of course, his odd habit of straying away from crowds.
At the age of 20, he already had a few small skirmishes under his belt, leading small groups of men to raid small groups of bandits. Though he did if course, have trouble wrapping his head around commanding large groups of men. After learning he would eventually have to do so if he was to stay in the military, he left to find some other profession that wouldn't require such troubles. Grumbling all the way, he left for adventure and hopefully less crowded countryland.
Now then, before I ask for a position, may I ask what each position is for?

Cougar-san, There are a ton of positions. Let's see; We need four more head of divisions, then theres generals and spies and peacekeepers and lodgekeepers.
I guess you can be head of the Earth Division, or maybe a general if you want!

Ai, Nashk's head would spin if he had to organize an entire force like that! He would not know where to begin!
However, lets give it a try. Nashk will be head of the earth division. Let the chaos ensue!

Hey, can I still sign up? This sounds like an interesting RP. Here's my OC:
Name: Soraya Age: 14 Affiliation: Against the Fire Nation Bender: Yes, beginner Waterbender. Appearance: Her eyes are steely gray, with a few flecks of blue. She has medium brown hair that's a few inches past her shoulders. It's wavy, with a few small braids all around her head. She is five feet and five inches tall, and weighs about 120 pounds. Her body is built like a dancer's: thin, light, and not-so-curvy. She has slightly tan skin*, with a white scar along her bottom-right jaw where it was split open with a shard of ice when she was a child.
*It's lighter than Katara's but darker than Aang's.
She wears white leggings and a tight, white tank top under a light blue, three-quarter-sleeved tunic and a knee-length, light blue skirt. Her skirt is slit up to her hips, with ties criss-crossing all the way up (think of modern shoe laces). Around her waist is a light blue, white-hemmed sash, and on her feet are light blue shoes.
History: Soraya was born and initially raised in the Southern Water Tribe. Her family consisted of her mother, her father, and her older brother (Raiken).
As a young child, she liked to watch the few Waterbenders in the South Pole while they practiced. When she found out she could bend (at age six) she watched them even more, picking up very basic moves from them. Her life was very simple, and very carefree.
Then, when she was nine, she lost her father in a Fire Nation raid (the same one in which Katara lost her mother). A year later, all the men in the tribe who were over age 15 left to fight in the war. This included her brother, Raiken.
Soraya's mother, Oki, was saddened by the loss of her husband, and by Raiken leaving. So, she took Soraya to live in the southwestern Earth Kingdom. Soraya felt very secluded from her people there (excluding the rare blue-clad person she saw on the street). However, this is when and where Soraya learned much of her bending. She didn't have a teacher; rather, she taught herself, building upon what she had observed in the Southern Water Tribe. She created her own moves, her own unique style of bending (like Toph did).
So, for four years, Soraya and her mother lived in the Earth Kingdom. Then, in the early winter of Soraya's thirteenth year, she overheard a couple of other people from the Water Tribe speaking of a journey to the North Pole. Boldly, she asked to join.
While speaking with her mother on the matter, they said it would be alright, but Oki didn't want Soraya to go. Soraya tried to get Oki to come with her, but she didn't want to see her people and be reminded of her lost husband.
So Soraya finally argued that there was nothing left for her in the Earth Kingdom. She wouldn't be leaving anything she would miss, except for her mother. Soraya didn't feel like she belonged in the Earth Kingdom (there was something about those Earthbenders that she could never feel comfortable with). Oki reluctantly agreed to let her go, asking her to remember to visit. They said their goodbyes a week later.
The journey was long and hard. They (a small group of Water Tribe people) trekked to the northern edge of the Earth Kingdom, then chartered a boat to the North Pole. On the way, Soraya was fully exposed to the suffering that the war was causing on a global scale. Upset, her reclusive habits became stronger, and she talked very little.
When they finally reached the Northern Water Tribe, Soraya saw just how unique her bending style was. She was dismayed to find out that women were not allowed to learn fighting - her only other option was to learn healing.
She did so for a couple months (during which time she turned fourteen), finding it somewhat enjoyable. Then, the Avatar came to the North Pole. Soraya was very excited: here was proof that peace would soon return to the world!
Later, she heard that a female companion of the Avatar's was learning Waterbending - she was learning how to fight! - from Master Pakku. Soraya, thinking that this could be her one chance, approached Master Pakku and asked for lessons.
He told her no: "The girl, Katara, was accepted for special reasons. I have no further wish to betray our culture's traditions." Saddened, Soraya nearly gave up. But in her despair, she came up with a plan. It was bold, especially for her, but she gave it a shot.
At dawn, when Master Pakku gave his lessons, Soraya would hide somewhere where she could see him and his students bending. It was a lot like what she did in the South Pole, except she had to keep out of sight (and she kept out of earshot, too, as an added precaution).
While learning in this way, she had a few narrow escapes, in which she was nearly found out (usually it was Master Pakku who nearly found out, but once, it was the Avatar. That really made her nervous). However, she managed to learn a few defensive skills, as well as healing skills (from her previous lessons).
Then came the Siege of the North. Soraya was scared, and made sure to stay far away from the fighting (not that she was strong enough to fight anyway). Instead, she helped the children and elderly to safety, and even helped heal some of the wounded.
Soon after, the Avatar and his friends left the North Pole. Soraya hoped that they would end the war soon, and pledged to learn fast enough to be able to fight in the final battle against the Fire Nation.
Personality: Soraya has a lot of energy but doesn't show it. She's also reclusive, even more so after seeing the true effects of the war throughout the Earth Kingdom. Sometimes, she has trouble approaching people she doesn't know, especially Earthbenders (why Earthbenders specifically? She doesn't know). She can be determined, but is usually more passive in life. She go to extreme lengths to get something she wants, or to reach a goal.
Strangely, she finds that she won't (or can't) trust anyone very far, and isn't extremely close to anyone except her brother, Raiken. She keeps her feelings to herself, and is detached from the world. Overall, she has an impartial outlook on life, with some pessimistic and optimistic moments, but never completely leaning one way or the other.
Overall, she is polite and respectful, and doesn't have a temper. She uses calm reasoning to get her point across. People often misinterpret her calm demeanor as condescending and over-confident, and it annoys them. This is one reason why Soraya is reclusive: so she doesn't have to be in the presence of so many negative feelings towards her.
Soraya enjoys bending. It calms her, and takes her mind off the suffering in the war. She's never actually tried formal lessons. She finds that she learns well on her own, and through observation. She doesn't aspire to be a master bender, but bends more for pleasure and protection.
In general, she just likes to do things. When she sees a particularly cool bending move, she just has to try it. She gets restless very easily, and no matter how much she tries to suppress it, her vast stores of energy start leaking out. Once that happens, she can go on and on for hours.
Soraya dislikes people who obsess over the little things. She always tries to look at the big picture. She also dislikes loud noises, and chaos in general. When she's in a chaotic situation, she finds herself lost and unable to think straight, and tries to get away as fast as possible.
However, one thing she doesn't dislike... is the Fire Nation. Yes, she hates what they did to her father, she hates the one who killed him, and she hates the war they started, but she can't find it in her heart to hate an entire nation. If the war ends, if the Avatar wins... she will readily accept the Fire Nation. She won't trust them (for that is her nature), but she won't condemn them, either.
Soraya desperately wishes to see her brother again. She misses him terribly, as he was her main confidant; he helped her through life. Without him, and living away from her mother, she feels lonely, despite her reclusive habits. She also wishes the war will just end. She doesn't like hearing about and seeing al the suffering and fighting. It makes her wondering about humanity, and what is to become of everyone.
She really has no plans for her future. She lives in the present, and doesn't really see herself as growing up to be anything but a poor peasant who can Waterbend. She has confidence in herself, but only in day-to-day events. That is why - since she isn't anything, nor is she ever going to be anything - she decided she will face her fear of chaos and fight in the war, in the hopes of seeing it end in her lifetime. Then, she reasons, she will actually be something.

Appearance: Kailen is average,15 year old girl height and is thin and has long legs. Her arms and legs are thin and boney. She has dark brown hair and bright sky blue eyes and medium colored skin tone. Her hair is always in 2 braids that reach her lower back.Kailen also wears those hair loopy things that are tied with a blue string. She wears dark, baggy blue pants and gray and white furry mocasin like shoes . She sometimes wears a blue coat with a fur hood and that has a white furry belt, but mostley , you will see her in a blue dress(like katara's) that comes up to her knees with a white trim. personality: Kailen is a powerful bender. Not the total best, but is compared to other people. she is cotent, headstrong, competitave. She was always challenging other people to water wars when she was younger. But now has learned not to "bite off more than you can chew" .She hardly complains even when big changes happen or she gets seriously hurt.(physiccally) She is understanding and realistic also.... She found out she was a water bender when she was 4 and has been bending ever since. Her mom taught her but when she died, she continued to learn by her self.
