I hope there isn't any brown in the North or South Pole. They should make it totally pure and natural. Those are my favorite settings and I hope that they don't change it. I'm excited to get pictures of the cast in character on location. ^_^

No they don't have to go to Antarctica to get that effect. I'm sure it's been done in plenty of movies before.
Some people might like it more rustic, but I would prefer the snow and ice. I don't think they should change the setting when they're perfectly capable of recreating the North and South Poles in the show. Most of it could be done with CGI anyways and still look realistic.

You do realize that the same company that provided the graphics worked on the Star Trek movies, as well as the Star Wars movies right? Industrial Light & Magic has been signed on to provide graphics for this film.
