I know a lot of people think he's "coffee house crap," but I don't agree. I think the boy is enormously talented. Anyone who can sound better live than on the CD (I know this from experience. I went to his concert late last year.) His songwriting moves me, I have to say. Does anyone else listen to him?

I love Jason Mraz! I have most of his albums and some of the other songs he's done covers for. ....People call him 'coffee house crap' though? Aww. I listen to his Mr. A-Z album the most, but my one of my favorite songs of his is the We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things version of "I'm Yours." ...I really need to listen to the rest of that album. ;>>But anyway, I agree on his songwriting, and I really like the melody his songs have. A (few?) years ago when he was touring and vacationing in Hawaii he kept a blog on his official site and it was really interesting to read. I normally don't follow or look into bands/musicians stuff aside from just listening to their music, but I was really impressed with how introspective many of his posts were and just the way he expressed his thoughts on important or inane things. I haven't checked out his site in a long time though, so I'm not sure if he still writes there or not.

Have you heard "A Beautiful Mess"? It's the best song of all of his IMO. Definitely worth a listen.
