I had a lot faith in these movies, but now I'm done. That's all that needs to be said.

Nicole Peltz as Katara?! *groans loudly* Come on! Vanessa Ann Hudgens would be a better choice. At least she LOOKS Asian!
Jackson is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too old to play Sokka!

...what.
Jesse McCartney as Zuko? No. Also, since when did Sokka look 10 years older than Katara? Not to mention they are both horribly pale.
What a large amount of fail.

This is disappointing, and it's not even about Zuko. I won't give up now, but Sokka and Katara....they're not even the right race. I mean, they don't even need inuit actors, how hard is it to find someone with a tan? Someone who looks remotely like the character? I know the guy who plays Sokka, he seems too old. Bleh....

Ah, hah.^^
Not even one Asian actor...? Seriously?
I can tolerate the actress for Katara, especially Sokka, and I mean I don't know who Aang is.
But...Jesse McCartney?
Is this the best they can do?^^ Is he going to bust out into a song about his feelings during the movie and turn this into a blatant rip-off of High School Musical?

I just hope this doesn't lead to a mass avatard suicide.
So much disappointment in so little time...

I have such low expectations for this movie, so the terrible cast list doesn't surprise me at all.
But seriously, Jesse McCartney?
No...just no...

Argh, this cast list is terrible. From what I know of Jesse McCartney (whut) and Jackson Rathbone, they are not good actors. But that's not my issue here. My issue is that taking a show filled with Asian world-building, Asian characters (+ Inuit!), and Asian martial arts then casting white people to play the main characters is really offensive.

To quote Cervantes as he appeared in Soul Calibur II: "That's all?! I'm disappointed!"
Seriously, I am disappointed. No offence to Jesse McCartney or the others chosen, but when you cast people for a show or movie, you want them to look at least similar to the characters they're portraying, unless it's animated, then it doesn't really matter, but since The Last Airbender is to be live action, that just fails. Who knows, maybe it will actually somehow be good, but when you cast white people for Asian- and/or Inuit-based characters, it screams "EPIC FAIL!" Not to mention the fact that it borders on racism.

*shrugs* I wasn't interested in the movies anyway...
I guess they better hope this captures some new fans...because it looks like the old ones won't be touching this thing with an immeasurably long barge pole.
