Well I can say for positive, I can say if there are more doubts of a continuation, that means the show is basically gone for good, just like with inuyasha given the matter of terms that it is time to move on and watch another nicktoon show and not avatar anymore is what some of the staff here might be looking at, in the end, it's time to move on.

Exactly. Spongebob is an example of a show that still keeps going even though all the fun and humor has clearly run out, so they're resorting to reusing old ideas and/or making immature adult humor.
I still have Scrubs to keep be occupied TV wise....and the history channel....
But unless Dr. Cox suddenly had an Agni Kai with Dr. Kelso, I doubt it'd be as epic as Avatar is.
You know a show is epic when it's managing to keep you awake nearly until midnight!

Well, Inuyasha in my opinion wasn't that great, so I wasn't too upset at the anime's ending. Plus there is a slew of great anime out there.
This is Avatar. One of the most amazing (maturity wise) American animations in nearly a decade. Face it: America does get many epic animations with the state of mind we have about cartoons.
Avatar is one in a million.
But if stuff does turn on our side, perhaps it is time to move on...

Inu yasha may not be a good example, since it has a clear ending in the manga which ended in June in Japan.
There was too many questions not answered, I guess that is where the disappointment is at.

I think there simply wasn't time in the finale, so instead Mike and Bryan ended on an "everything will be all right" note. A "we all live happily ever after...the end" note.
Sure, we didn't see everything. But--it all sorted itself out, I'm sure.

I guess the problem is that we are totally forgetting this show's (in my opinon) major flaw:
the demography is for 6-11 year olds.

Well that is the thing, since the US is having economy problems at this time, it seems Mike and Bryan did discontinue wanting to add a saga to this, because apparently it is expensive to continue a series like this, yet it aways make it hard to turn away, I mean by the time this year is over, these boards, groups, and sites will be shut down for the Archives, and that my friends is well likely to happen, and I am a bit saddened for it.

There are quite a lot of these questions, and I'm not sure if anyone can really answer them to their fullest extant!

CHILDREN, be patient, be at peace within yourself...all will be reveal once SDCC arrives.....I'm sure the fans has a whole heck of questions, and I think thats what bryan and mike wanted. I believe they will reveal some spin-off movies (not series).
*What happen to Azula?
*Where is Ursa?
*What are the fate of the airbenders? (please don't say geneticism, I don't want inbreded airbenders). I don't think we will have airnomads like we did 100 years ago anymore, but I still believe there will be airbenders. I believe its all spirtual and environmental related.
*What ever happened to the Earth King?
*What ever happened to Hawky?
*What be of Jet's fate......well Bryke already said he died.....but maybe they changed their mind in Ember Island Players and left it to the viewers imagination?
*Will Iroh ever make babies again, because I hope so!!

And Mike and Bryan better answer them for us. I'm sure that they fear our rage if they didn't.

I feel everyone's pain. I REALLY wanted more closure. They have to have an Avatar special episode which ties everything together. The only thing to look forward to now is the new incarnation series "confirmed" on Avatar: The Last Air Bender wikipedia page where they follow a new/different incarnation of the Avater (past or future?) Where did you read this? The only thing we have confirmed is the movie "incarnation" of the series we know and love. M & B have stated that they would like to expand the world of Avatar, but what that would entail in unknown at this point. Right now, they are busy working on the movie adation of the series. If a new animated series is made, it will be years from now, if ever.

And Mike and Bryan better answer them for us. I'm sure that they fear our rage if they didn't. Well here are some concerns that might prove Mike and Bryan could call it quits, 1, Season 3 did not get as many viewers as predicted, 2, the merchandise market did not do well for this series in terms of income(on some cases), and 3, the show was most likely the costly show to make in Nicktoon's history, and add that with our bad economy at this time, and chance are the show is bound to to have no more sagas, that means the end of the Avatar fanbase. This is just my thoughts on the subject, and well that is all I am going to say on it.

I rather hope they focus on the movie for now, I'm a little worried with Shamalya (sp) directing....
I still wish the movies would be based some a different story, I really don't want the movie to take away from the series. I mean even if the movie was good, it will still leave out alot of stuff!!
Season 3 didn't get enough viewers because Nick screwed up everything for the show. From advertisement, to airing schedules, to merchandise. If they want to make money, Nick has to put in a little bit of quality in their merchandise, not some THQ cr*ppy game, dude don't they know that the majority of the series fanbase is pretty much teens and adults? we the fans are not so easily fooled and manipulated...........

I think one of my hopes is that they will somehow be a little more conclusive with the theatrical movie.
And I can see it kinda working out because, you know,
it's M.Night.
It's his......thing.
