So I currently have t-mobile and a magenta razr, but my family's contract ran out a few months ago and I'm responsible for finding out whether or not we want to change to another service or not, and I need help. These are some of the results I got from people i know irl, but i think an internet poll would get a bigger response. ok:
t-mobile pros: most of the people i know have it cons: the service can be iffy sometimes and they have some boring phone models
ATT pros: my mom has it and she always gets service no matter what TEH iPHONE cons: my aunt claims hers drops every time she goes up a hill yeah i know the iPhone can be overhyped and if i get one i'll be considered spoiled b/c i'm just a teen, but is it my fault my uncle is a business man?
Verizon Wireless pros: cool phones cons: i don't like the menu and set-up
sprint pros: uhh. cons: lol idk anything about sprint.
These aren't the only services in my area, but the most dominant, in order of how many people i know who i have it.
so vote in the poll, say what cell phon

I have Verizon, and I like it. Mostly because the majority of my friends have it too, so I get free minutes and texting. Service is also very reliable. My phone has the worst interface ever (krzr), but the new UIs of the LG's seem really sexy. :3 Btw, my phone:

I have ATT and I like it. Service depends a lot on where you live. Where I live ATT gets the best service, and most people have it so I get free mobile to mobile minutes. I have the iphone and I really like it, I would defintely recommend it.

In my electrical engineering class, we ran a diagnostics lab on cell phone receptions over a certain area. You wouldnt believe how many dead zones there are in just a 15 foot by 15 foot room. We are talking if you moved a fraction of an inch you would be in a dead zone. It was actually pretty cool. Anyway, I have ATT, hate it. Love it. I really cant demand anything better. Phone? Z9 It's ballin.

I've got Verizon. Most of my friends had it, so it was great... but now... everybody seems to be in a different network... last month's bill was 300... because I was texting a certain someone.. o.O you know who you are. Got it fixed though, so it's all good again. :] and that's my phone. It's a durable little guy. Left it out in the rain overnight and found it the next morning at the bottom of a puddle... still worked.

I have the same phone as night, it's just black and a little older.
I really don't like the krzr, that much, I kinda want a new one, but the service is good and the free texting, nights and weekends, and free in calling is good. : )

I have ATT. I like my phone, but I loathe the service. My family's calls are constantly dropped. It's rather irritating.

Oh dead zones. During Hurricane Ike, my house and a 5-minute drive radius around it was dead, but ATT was crystal clear. heh.
my family would probably hate me if we chose verizon or sprint. we'd be the only 4 people in the entire extended family apparently. but verizon's phones are so pretty.
is the iPhone easy to text on?

is the iPhone easy to text on? I've played with them in the store a few times, and not really. IMO, its also annoying to get to where you text. One of my friends has it, and she told me that it got a bit annoying, but nothing too bad. =/

I've played around with it in the apple store and it seems like something you MIGHT get better at as you use it, and if you don't, you just text slowly. 5 people i know who have it, 4 of them love theirs, but that one made a huge argument about how crappy it was and everyone believes him because he's from singapore..
which reminds me of these videos:

I lived in teh Rockies (Colorado and New Mexico) and ATT had the best service there. I think I will keep ATT even though Verizon service is definitely better here in NC. I anticipate moving back to the mountains some day in the future. I need a phone that does email well. It's my life line for work. Blackberry Curve or iPhone?

My Dad loves his iPhone. His laptop is having issues, so he recently went on a trip with just his iPhone, and fell in love. He said it basically served the same function as his laptop, but with GPS. And he doesn't even use all the other features. But he flew his plane on this trip, and he's always checking weather conditions, and says the iPhone was just what he needed. Also, he said he loves the interface, as he's fast-approaching 60 and the display is friendly on his eyes. As for me, I have ATT/Cingular/ATT again Wireless. I like it - seems to be fairly reliable, plenty of coverage, and some pretty good plans. I have a Motorola RZR (V60i, I think? can't remember) - others have problems with theirs, but mine works like a champ. 'Course, I guess I don't push it that hard, either - I'm a very basic cell phone user.

I have Verizon, and I don't mind it. Its good service, but I need to get a phone with a QWERTY keyboard (fully functional keypad). Texting is so aggravating because I have a Verizon Juke and it's so small I can't really text quick enough. This is my phone: You know, as interesting as the commericals are, I have yet to meet ANYONE who uses Altell or that MyCircle thing. They make it seem like everyone's using their service...and...well, I can't find a lot of people who suscribe to their service.
