I loved these two eps, and thought they should be a two-part ep. What do you guys think?

There's a 'To be continued...' at the end of The Storm and direct reference (Sokka's cold caused BY The Storm) in The Blue Spirit. As far as I'm concerned they ARE a two-part episode.

I think it is too, but some disagree. All in all, I enjoyed both episodes. I hate that Zuko tossed the mask in Lake Laogai.

I agree with nandi. The two eppies flowed together flawlessly, an almost perfect two-parter if I ever saw one.
Of course, back then we didn't get one hour movies, they were all essentially split up and alot could be considered two parters.

Yeah. I loved Zuko in those eps. He was so moody. We got to see a little of both Aang and Zuko's backgrounds. That makes the show more interesting. That's where it goes back to the character development discussion in "The Average Age of an Avatar Fan" thread in the general board.

It did, but I got the idea that there would be something else to it. I watched the AU version after downloading it from Frostwire, and it did have the TBC on it. I didn't see anything on the american version of it though.

Were there any other episodes with a TBC in them? I feel like I remember one there for some reason, but I might be thinking of something else.

^Yeah I believe that SoTN pt. 1 had a TBC, but I may be wrong on that.
About the question at hand here though, I believe that we gained insight into both Aang and Zuko. I think The Blue Spirit showed more about Zuko's character though and that's when we first saw that a different side to him (when he let Aang go, and of course when he turned his back on the FN flag).
I really love both of these episodes. The Storm was the first episode that I started looking at Zuko as something more than a villian, and started liking the character. After three seasons both of these episodes still stand out to me as some of the top episodes.

The Boy In The Iceberg and The Boiling Rock Part 1 are the only ones I think. Anyways, both these episodes are fantastic. The Blue Spirit was one of the first episodes I saw and it kind of turned me on to the series. I pretty agree with everything ILZ said.

I saw a couple on YouTube, and they did. I didn't see it on many of the american versions, though.

I think we got more insight into Zuko's Character, because in the episodes we really get to see how the Past has changed him and we see the inner turmoil that he suffers from....
