No it wouldn't have. I have to agree that Aang would more than lkiely have been nailed with lightning, if he had prolonged the fight until after the eclipse, which he would have; it may have not been his doing, but it would have been prolonged

I haven't had time to watch them all, I want to see them back to back. I am going by memory and I'm leaning toward D0BS. But I will not vote until I witness them all together.
I am so not good at making decisions.

I'm lucky to have made my decision. Otherwise, I would be still trying to decide. I just wish that Hakoda had shown up in SoTN.

I know I'm gonna get flamed for this, but I think SoTN is overrated. Sure, it is one, if not, the best Season 1 episode, but it pales in comparison to DoBS, Sozin's Comet, Season 2 finale, and some other eps, IMO. I found the end a bit cheesy where Yue gave her spirit to the moon and there wasn't as much action scenes as I was hoping for.
But once again, this is just my humble opinion.

In a way, I agree with you. Yue giving her spirit back was something that I kinda thought would happen. I'm glad we got to see a bit into her character, though. She had a large impact on Sokka.

The Seige Of The North and The Boiling Rock. I never get tired of seeing both of them. A lot of action in SotN and Suki returns in TBR.

I think this may be an impossible choice for me to make. I can eliminate "The Boy in the Iceberg/The Avatar Returns", and the "Winter Solstice" one and maybe "The Seige of the North". But I adore "Guru/COD", "Day of Black Sun", "The Boiling Rock" . Geez! I'll be very brave and pick "The Boiling Rock". I love the Sokka/Zuko partnership. And they were both so cool. Zuko really proved himself here. And Suki was awesome. Maiko and Mai's amazing take down of those fire nation soldiers. She loves her Zuko and she proved it right there. Ty Lee takes down Azula for Mai. Azula's shocked expression. Lots of great humour. And we get one of my favorite lines ever...."That's rough buddy" coming from Zuko. How unfitting and adorkable is that? I do love The Library/Fury of Aang too. I forgot about that one.

my favorites would have to boil down to The Seige of the North, The Day of Black Sun, and The Guru/The Crossroads of Destiny. but now that i look back...the seige of the north was much more awesome when it was the premiere episode...now if i go n' watch it it kinda bores me...and the day of black sun kinda does the same thing...(except for the kataang kiss) so i'm gonna go with The Guru/CoD cuz it takes us deeper into origins of which the show was based on and still grips my attention.

Hm... It was a close tie between The Fury of Aang and the Season 2 Finale. Just thinking about Book 2 makes me giddy. X) In the end, I went with The Fury of Aang. The Library and The Desert introduced the Day of Black Sun concept (without which there never would have been City of Walls and Secrets, my absolute favorite episode), started the Lost Appa arc, and introduced Wan Shi Tong, who now beats out Hedwig for the title of "Most Kicka** Owl in Popular Media". Plus, we musn't forget Sokka's cactus juice shenanigans.

DOBS was pure epicness! I gotta go with it! Second would be.. maybe SOTN? But I haven't watched it in a long time, so eh.. DOBS is win.

The Day of Black Sun was my favorite because it was intense. The build up for it helped too, because it felt so final,it was what we were waiting for. They'd been talking up the comet so much and then when the idea of the eclipse came up it was like "HA! He can best the fire nation!" and then when it blew up in their faces so to speak it got a huge reaction out of me...I was mad but saw it coming,it was just awesome. It's hard to explain why I like it so much, but I tried haha
