ok, there have been rumors about a season 4. If there is a season 4 it's supposedly going to be about a new avatar or a spin-off of the original. My thoughts: I honestly want them to continue Zuko's story about finding his mother, but I would also like a new Avatar series. the plot of it, i have no idea yet. but it could start off with a story of The Firelord (Zuko) finally finding his mother, and the re-population of the airbenders... then it moves to the present-day child that is listening to these stories so he/she would continue the peace for his/her nation. Because it's Zuko's story, it probably starts off at the Fire Nation, then whips the attention to the Water Tribe. I dunno, theories maybe? Throw them out there! also if i didn't include a specific option you were looking for, i'm sorry!

No, do you realize how lame something like that would be? Even if they didn't pull a new more powerful than Ozai villain, it would still be horrible compared to the finale. Plus, what do you think THE END means anyway?

Plus, what do you think THE END means anyway? I'm not saying "book: air" i'm saying at least a spin-off. They left some loose ends for us to imagine how things will end-up, but still... Also, it doesn't have to have another Ozai kind of villain either... there's not really any need for any specific villain. The world is still in a kind of turmoil from the war.

Azula looked like she went insane... However, she is always one step ahead of everyone, and could have put up an act because she knew the war was ending and the fn would loose... So she banished random people and acted crazy... Where ever she is, they must think she's crazy... Which she could go all michael myers on them... look at the walls not moving or speaking for years, then randomly breaking out... And if what they say is true about the new season having a new avatar, then she could be the main vilian... An old villan... But a villan none the less... Heck, she could kill aang from the start, then wait for the newavatar to show up... She could try to retake the fn, and make an army out of those how might want the fn to take over the world... After all, kioshi lived to be almost 300 I think... And bumi was like 100... so she could be in the new avatar series...

There could be an evil spirit locked away in a magic pandoras box type thing, or something to that effects... And It could be set free by a really old ozai or something... And it could do something bad, and only the avatar could stop it...

I'm thinking that the new series will have a new group and will have a new avatar, but will have camios from zuko and the rest of the crew... They will just be old...

I would like to see it as a continuation of what happened after book 3. I would like to have some answers in season 4 like if Aang and Katara stay together, do they ever find out what happens to Zuko's mother, what new adventures could Aang and crew have, etc.

^^Although it will NEVER happen, I agree. I would love to see that. M&B are supposed to be creative right? I'm sure they could make a great series, there are still villians and those who oppose peace. But they said the story of these characters is over, so sadly, we have to make our own ending really.

No offense, but don't you see how boring something like that would be? You've got this huge, epic finisher with the works; epic music, finale showdowns, heck, even the words THE END. Then you try and make a season tying up loose ends.
Sure, that would be interesting at first, maybe as a one episode thing, but to base a whole new STORY off of that? Best case scenario it turns out alright and Nick decides to milk Avatar for all it's worth ala Spongbob, and worst case scenario it's the beginning of Season Three all over again, with everyone, even the most hardcore fans, angry at how horrible their favorite show has become.

DarkAvatar: Do not double post, much lest triple post. You can modify your posts with the "Modify" button in the top right corner.
I think the Avatar story's over. Though I'd love to see what happened to Ursa, I think they left that up to viewer speculation in order to keep the storyline somewhat open.
I have heard Bryke saying they'll continue to do stories that take place within the Avatar world, but not with the original characters. A new story isn't completely out of the context, but I doubt any relation to the original characters.

The commentary on Sozin's Comet gave me the impression that they're mostly interested in going back to the days before the first Avatar...or perhaps exploring how the Avatar came into being.
I'm quite happy with how it ended...there's a lot of threads for fanficers to explore...and for all of us who didn't care for the couples they went with nothing is set in stone (there were no declarations of undying love or bethrotal announcements) and with the characters being so young...well...we can all make up our own minds what happened so we can all be happy.

I was think along the lines of zuko planning on trying to find his mother, along with Iroh's help. It would start at the palace with Aang running in telling of what he saw while he was meditating. What if Koh was able to steal faces of powerful spirits and steal their power? And the remaining spirits had to join forces to stop him. Koh would team up with the rebels in the fire-nation that were with Ozai. We'd see the gaang back together. Maybe even find ursla, find out about Iroh/lu ten's past. (maybe the mom was the fire spirit known as the phoenix?) I just thought of this in 5 minutes...so I'm not to sure of what my plan for the fourth book is. Ha. xD edit: also Aang would have to help the spirits out by being the bridge between worlds and that he is the last airbender, thus their are no air spirits...unless appa were to master air...

There's needs to be something staring Azula, or atleast her playing a big role.
This is driving me f*cking crazy.

I think we need to know more about how Zuko handles ruling the Fire Nation. Not necessarily another book, but at least a few episodes or something. I mean, the Fire Nation generals aren't going to say "Okay, we drop our huge military advantage and stop attacking the world". They're going to want to finish the war.
