Grandi, there's no need for those kind of jokes. The Harem is more than capable of having an intelligent discussion. It's just that this thread is more known for its general small talk and debates belong more in Critical Thinking.

Maybe, but there's no reason to kick intelligent discussion that people want out of a thread unless it's off topic. Intelligent discussion? HERE? YOU MUST BE PLAYIN' HOMEGIRL. Oh come on you know sometimes we do rise above the spam.ROFL Grandi, there's no need for those kind of jokes. The Harem is more than capable of having an intelligent discussion. It's just that this thread is more known for its general small talk and debates belong more in Critical Thinking. Hmmm the biggest debate of all is. When will Growly wonder back so we can hear how his comic is going? I give it by the end of the year or less, I hope. A lot of people need wonder back, here is hoping it happens.

I missed the second debate hopefully I'll get to see it later on youtube.
And although I'm for McCain I thought both him and Obama did good in the first debate.

I thought McCain did well in the first debate too, but not so much in the second. It was a pretty boring debate, and the sort of field of anti-charisma that McCain seemed to project this time didn't help it.

Mccain bombed the first debate, IMO. He couldn't get off the maverick gravy train, and repeated himself quite a lot. The second was better, but I still found myself wishing he could speak differently about the same topic. Its not only appealing, but it can also help the people who may not quite understand the first time.
To tell you the truth, I don't wish for either of the candidates, but I'm leaning Obama because of the debates, and some of the way's he wants to deal with the financial crisis.

I've been pretty exhausted lately. School, homework, college applications, arguing about college applications, arguing about arguing about college applications, etc.
DH must live, though. ): It's sad seeing the OGB so dead.

School is annoying, especially English. My other two APs (American History and Psychology) are incredibly easy compared to English, and more fun. Having English 8th period doesn't help either, I can't exactly look forward to it. =/
My homework load has died down a little now, I don't have 3 things of notes per night like I did in September. That was such fail. D;

School isn't going to good for me. I'm not the hardest worker, so that doesn't really help. I just don't want to put in the effort anymore when I know that all this stuff is useless. I'm only enjoying my math classes - pre-calc and AP Stats - and ceramics. My English class is just stupid and easy and so is physics. I kinda like Spanish I guess. ^_^ And last spring when we chose schedules I had a moment of insanity and signed up for AP US. My teacher's a jerk and it sucks.
I'm taking the PSATs tomorrow. :/ At 8 in the morning. D: Then the juniors on the field hockey team are getting together to get ready for Senior Day (Tuesday). It's our last home game in the regular season so we're getting them flowers, making goodie bags and posters and planning if we're going to toliet paper their houses or fork their lawns on Monday. :3

I'm the same way about not working hard in school, hehe. I don't think I'd ever enjoy my Math class, though - I'm taking Calculus and I don't like it at all. Heh, I never took the PSAT but I did pretty well on the SAT anyway. Total waste of a Saturday morning. Much better spent sleeping in.

I've done pretty well on my first set of college exams, besides Math of course I'm just dreading finals, cuz they're all cumulative and every class has mountains and mountains of notes that I will have to study. Grrrrr....
