We actually learned a lot in when I took health class: CPR, mental illnesses, depression, date rape drugs, STDs/STIs, the reproductive process, general illness, the food pyramid, etc.
Sadly, all that accounts for nothing because I don't remember any of it ^^;

Freshman health is all about sex and babies for us. Last year was all first aid stuff. I missed the 2 weeks of school when we learned CPR but I still got certified in first aid.

I want to take Health during the summer and beg the school to let me take music theory even though i'm in the engineering strand of my school.
i'm learning microsoft office 2003 in my BCIS class, but we're still doing keyboarding. My teacher was going to let me skip ahead because I type pretty well, but I wanted to correct my bad habits. heh.

LOL, we're learning Microsoft Office 2000 in computer class. It's really... outdated now, and we already learned it in elementary school. And the school keyboards are terrible, I can't type on them. @_@ I took Health last year, now I never have to take it again. The teacher was weird... Hmmm the last class that I was enrolled in that was anything like health was First AID. That was a cool class partly because I don't know college is just way more fun than high school. At least for me. I just find it to be less forced and more mutual learning. But health in the normal sense was boring and rather random course. If feel like mental well being, disease awareness, and First Aid all rolled in to one really unbalanced quarter.

yeah, i heard baton rouge got it rough. i'm sorry to hear about LSU. I hope things get fixed soon :]
well, when i went to see the dark knight in IMAX in sunday, it was raining cats and dogs for like 10 minutes and it was JUST in the vicinity of the "entertainment center". my family was like "whoa, is gustav coming early?" but unfortunately, my mom is a FOB and cannot say "gustav" correctly. heh.

@skye: yeah i heard about baton rouge. and your team even canceled the game that sucks. but yeah i am in pennsylvania so i am in the snow belt. that will be fun in the winter, but is boring now. its just really hot and there is no air conditioning in the dorms. i really wish i went to school down south where it is hot all the time so they instal air conditioning

I like the classic Sugar if it's from Tim Horton's but Original Glaze from Krispy Kreme's is my overall favorite <333
