I can't believe he died of pheumonia. This could've been easily avoided.

Definitely could've done with a couple more electric blankets.

I wonder how it became fatal. Usually, you have a cold first or some kind of sickness, first.

You guys do realize he had a lung condition, right? XD;; It was in remission, but you don't know what kind of damage it could have left prior to him falling ill with pneumonia.

^ I didn't know. See how out of the loop I am?
But I guess it developed too fast for him to deal with.

Guys, please be respectful. You do not have to like the guy or care, but don't make light of his death.

I am very saddened to hear about his death. He was one of the few genuinely funny comedians that developed and wrote his own material. And he broke all types of barriers in the variety of comedies he performed. He will be dearly missed.

@gacs I don't care whether you like him or not, but when a person dies, no one wants to hear your insensitive opinions (sorry if that came out a little strong). If you reply to me, I won't reply back, 'cause if I do, all this would do will cause a forum riot.
I liked watching the Bernie Mac show, and I always thought of that show as smart and clever. It's really quite a shame that he had to die, he wasn't afraid to suggest ideas and he materialized his own comedy.

Even his brief cameos in other movies were good. Even though it was a small roll, I loved him in Transformers.

Wow, this is so unexepected. It really isn't a joke. He's gone. His show was one of my favorites as a tween.T_T R.I.P that guy in the article was right...the world got a whole less funny.

What's really creepy is that he and Isaac Hayes were working on the same movie, and they died within a day of each other.
