Hello guys! Over the course of this year, I have been working (in secret) on a Avatar LEGO diorama to top my previous one: a DoBS Appa and Aang's Glider.
How did I do so you ask? Well, if you take a look at the topic title and one at the picture below, I think you'll understand.
I present The Day of Black Sun Invasion!
Unlike my previous attempt at this heroic battle, this one comes complete with an Earth Kingdom Tank, a Battlement , a Rhino with working catapult, Sokka making a superman-esque jump towards a battlement, Toph leading troops into battle and a Swamp Bender laying down the law on an unfortunation Fire Bender.
Although it certainly beats the tar out of my older diorama, it is far from finished, and is still a WIP. Besides the obvious lack of a complete roof on the battlement, the tank is still missing a few pieces whose absence screws over the symmetrical look I was going for. Unfortunately with school starting up in three!weeks, I don't think I'm going to get much more out of this MOC for quite some time.
Anyway, the Tank is constructed of three separate parts, the front car with four light grey opening doors and detachable roof, the middle car with no doors and a detachable roof, and a back car with four dark grey opening doors and a detachable roof. Inside the front and back car is a raised platform from which a minifig can sit and 'drive' the tank as well as see the outside world through a hole in the front shield. The middle car is the most spacious, but they all have enough space to hold a small army, including all the minifigs I used in the diorama.

All in all, I think it was worth the work, and I hope that you guys can say the same. However, if you guys have any ideas as for how I can improve, don't be afraid to say so!
