Of course there's no taboo. Especially if the step-siblings were in the relationship first. Since it's fanon the timing possibilities are endless anyway. And Turbo's right -- they aren't blood related. So where's the ick?
I find it so strange that people in the Avatar fandom -- which has some of the squickiest shipping I've ever seen -- could be bothered by Ursa/Hakoda and Zuko/Katara happening in tandem. It's really one of the least inappropriate scenarios, IMO.

Haha...
Hakoda: "Hey, Katara, I'm marrying your boyfriend's mother." Katara: "No way! My boyfriend's mother is going to be my stepmother! Sweet!"

It's really one of the least inappropriate scenarios, IMO. Most of the squicky pairings like Azula/Zuko involve villains and thus are supposed to be squicky and disturbing. If I had a step-brother, I wouldn't feel comfortable marrying him.

Well Azula/Zuko isn't one on the best ships, sorry to you Azukoians?

Haha... Hakoda: "Hey, Katara, I'm marrying your boyfriend's mother." Katara: "No way! My boyfriend's mother is going to be my stepmother! Sweet!" How 'bout this? Hakoda: "Katara, I know she's your mother-in-law, but Ursa and I have come to care very deeply about one another." Katara: "Dad, I think that's wonderful. I love you both very much and I think you'll be happy." Awwww. It's so sweet! It all depends on how you look at it. If your mind goes THERE (to the squick side of things) you'll see ick. If your mind remains HERE (where relationships don't get that serious until post-teen anyway) you'll see romance. ---- But enough about that. I like the Iroh/Aunt Wu combo. I'd ship Jun with someone like Piandao. Older but not too old. I think he could tame her and vice versa.

Haha, yeah Iroh/Aunt Wu is cute. About the Jun ship, I'd probably put her with someone like Zhao, or maybe Ozai.

But Zhao's dead. You want to kill Jun? J/K I'd put Mai with Zhao. I think they'd make a great couple (if he was alive of course). Jun is almost too much woman for anybody. LOL. If I had a step-brother, I wouldn't feel comfortable marrying him. What if your step brother was Orlando Bloom?

Haha yeah, seriously Jun doesn't need anyone except herself. Well, maybe her little Sheershu [spelling?] thing.

Jun might work for Hakoda, I suppose. He got a hot flash for Suki after the scene in your sig, Turbo. He's likes 'em tough.

How odd that after we heard about Jun but before she appeared on the show, she was shipped with Zuko, but after the episode aired and Iroh was the one who was into her, she was shipped with Iroh.
Anyone notice how similar Iroh's and Zuko's tastes in women are? (Doesn't Jun physically resemble Mai?)

Haha, mahatista, all of the guys were like "Woah, that girls got stuff" hah. And, Jill, I've never noticed it, but now that you say it, yeah, Jun does really look like Mai. Hmm.

Yeah, I meant Aunt Wu. I cant imagine anyone mistaking Mai for Jun but I guess its a case of different strokes.

Well, I, nor did jill, mention mistaking the two for each other. We're talking about physical attributes. If you ask me, their hair, and skin tones are very alike.
