Good evening, I recently attempted to look at some pictures an acquaintance of mine posted on this website, but then yet instead of showing the said pictures, all I see is a white box/paper with a red 'X'.
Would anyone mind shedding some light on this?

Try taking those pictures and uploading them on an image hosting site, like Photobucket.

^Uploading the pictures to Photobucket will help you get a valid code to view the image. What Shock Wave said pretty much answers your question though, the URL or IMG codes are wrong or "broken" so the image will not show.

Oh, I apologize, I thought you meant they wouldn't show up on DH.

Yes, sorry for the confusion, I meant to say the pictures that are already on this website will not show up....
I apologize again though, for the miscommunication...

It could also be your web browser. It might not show that sort of image.

Well in Internet Explorer, you might have the show images option uncheck, or something like that. I would check under that if I was in your position. Tools>Internet Options>Advanced then look downt he list and see what is checked/unchecked that could cause that.

Check you forum settings; at the navigation bar at the top of the page, click on "profile" from there click on "modify my profile" ... or something with the words modify and profile, and then find picture settings.

Or it could be as simple as refreshing the page or right-click-show picture. ^^; Though that might be a little simple for the situation.
