There would actually be intelligent arguements about whether if this clip is symbolism or not, how likely Zutara would be, how the series would play out, or even about things that had little reference to the pairing.

Where is all the enthusiasm, where is the passion! All I'm reading is a bunch of ignorant passerby supporters looking at the bare minimum and deciding that it isn't even worth the effort, instead you get the empty response of "I'll just right a fanfic or comic", or "well fanon is way better because if they got together then what would we write about!"

Just a few months ago the Zutara board had twice the amount of threads completed than the Kataang board, now that lead is down to less than twenty! This is less than the amount when the Zutara threads were completely blowing by every other shipping, while the War Rooms had reached 40! Yes 40, Kataang had the second most amount with like 18 or 20, every other pairing except for Sukka, and ZuJin, had only one.

Almost everyone now replying on this board isn't even a full supporter of Zutara and the only one who is supposedly a true Zutarian is ticked off at the very thing that gives Zutara even a chance. I'm not sure what your seeing that i'm not but to me and I would say almost every person from the old Hot Springs would say that this is the beginning of the end for Kataang.

Now I hardly read any of the posts because most of them are gibberish with nothing meaningful to say, no discussions, no symbolism, no new sigs or fanart, not anything with any substance.

I don't care if the mods delete this post or not it needs to be said, people like LunaChaos and clearsunrise, or Paraiba Ocean, or theweasleyboys, and trustno1, and even more I can't name were the people that made this thread what it was, ever since they left and the name changed, the topics have turned to crud

I'm sorry but if anyone did a little research on the old Hot Springs or if anyone remembers it, then you would know what I'm talking about. It is such a shame that those same people aren't with us to talk about it to disect the episodes and find symbolism just like in the old days.

I am well aware of how you're feeling. I too was around the time Hot Springs were formed, & I admit~ I miss having the Hot Springs members around. However, just because there are new people to the Zutarian fandom; doesn't mean that this place is trash. There are a few decent conversations going on here and there & ofcourse, with the show coming to closure soon- there isn't much us Zutarians can talk about.

I know you're upset that Luna, Trust, Clear, Para, fairysgift, rocio etc. aren't around to stir up conversations like it use to months ago, but you have to understand that they have things to do outside this forum. If you really feel that this place has gone down hill, do something about it. & I don't mean to say that in a harsh tone. I miss them too, heck even Grandi is gone~ amazing people that left memories on this board are gone; but that doesn't mean closure to this place at all. There are new people attracted to this fandom & although they may not be like Luna or Para-
we certainly can't just rant them into making the Catacombs like it did in the old days.

We might as well just leave it as it is.

Hello Zutarians! I went kind of crazy last night and did weird Zutara rituals. XD I went around my room - which is a complete mess - and took everything red and blue and put it on top so all I could see is red and blue. My fingernails are red and blue alternating already and I wrote on them with sharpie stuff like Zutara will be canon. I wore red and blue to bed last night and fell asleep with Zutara thoughts.

I woke up this morning and saw that I did something really weird in the middle of the night. There was a red and blue magic marker in my bed - I don't know where they had been before that. And I wrote ZUTARA WILL HAPPEN! on my stomach right side up in alternating red and blue. (I was impressed that I could still write upside down in my sleep) And I put hearts all around it.

Soooooo there's my Zutara for the day. I probably won't be on today and if I am it'll be late tonight.

Have most of you given up on canon Zutara though?

The Catacombs should be at 70 by tomorrow though.

wow i didn't know you guys missed me . sorry i haven't posted on the thread in awhile. but don't worry i'm still here^^;. i just haven't seen the episodes yet.

from what i've heard though, aang has been...slightly whiney the last couple of eps, and if a guy had tried to kiss me after i said i was confused i'd probably punch him. but either way^^;;

I still haven't watched EIP. I'll get around to it. I won't be watching the finale tonight either. But maybe I'll get to both before the night is out. Either way I'll pop back in at some point to see what's happening. I don't mind being spoiled anymore. Season 3 has left me not much caring one way or the other what happens. It's taken so long to finish this thing the whole experience is starting to feel like a root canal.

@darth (from a page or so ago): While I appreciate that you miss your mates from long ago (more than months because I've been participating in this room for a year) I am less than impressed by your rant. My mates are perfectly nice people -- not imbeciles in the least -- and deserve respect for keeping the Catacombs a positive and celebratory place. You may feel that we lack your particular brand of genius, but if your rant is any indication of your typical posting style, I've gotta say I think we're better off.

Back On Topic: Has anyone else been following Wren Sharpbeak's fanfic series? She just posted another chapter a day or so ago and it was excellent. Yet another thing that makes sense to happen on the show but won't. (It's not a Zutara fic -- although there are complications in that direction -- but it's got all the elements that have been missing {such as the Spirit World and Iroh and more Zuko bonding time with everyone ... including Katara. }).

I believe that Zuko truly has a crush on Katara at this point. It's just because he strived so hard to get her to trust him in the Southern Raiders, and then squeezed in between Aang and Katara to sit by her in the episode last night. (The name's escaped me. xD)

But what sort of annoys me is how they've made Zuko basically say, "HAY HURR'Z A WAY 2 TRUST MI. LETS GO KEEL SUM1." Ya what? D: Fire and water are supposed to balance each other out, not send each other into a spiraling, out of control circle of death, hate, and violence. ;;

And darth I didn't say anything earlier, but I found your comment very offensive - and I usually don't get offended on the internet. I'm one of the newer Zutarians here and have only been around for two Catacombs. I am just as enthusiastic and passionate as any Zutarian. I, along with the other Zutarians here, am not an imbecile and deserve respect. The whole point of the Avatar fandom, in my opinion, is to have fun and the Catacombs is a one of the places here where I always have fun. So what if we aren't having deep discussions about Zutara? It's not like there's much more theorizing we can do at this point. If you don't like what we're talking about, either post something to change the topic or don't read at all.

Aaaaaaaaanyways, Cara I couldn't find my blue nailpolish either so I went out an bought some more. And this kind is WAY better than what I used to have and was only 99 cents!

I won't give up on Zutara either until the credits roll. Even then I'll keep thinking that in the three animated TV movies (are those still happening or not? ) Zutara has a chance. Or if the ending doesn't go to years later, Kataang/Maiko could break up and Zutara could happen. Or Z and K just have a secret affair for years.

I think he definitely could have a crush on her now too. When he sat beside her in EIP I was so happy. Like someone said before I think that play planted the seed for Katara, and Zuko if he doesn't like her already.
