I've been posting on ASN with the suggestion that there be some sort of super large "thank you" to collect all the various messages of gratitude from all the Avatar fansites out there, perhaps in time for SDCC, perhaps not. I was sort of hoping that the head honchos of the various sites would get together and do something like that, but I figured it'd be better to take the initiative myself. Therefore, I'm going for the only thing I can do and I've created a petition designed to collect as many signatures from as many Avatar fans as possible with the sole purpose of thanking the crew. As mentioned in the topic title, I plan on posting this at as many major fansites as possible...since they all seem to be connected the only difficulty will be in registering at every single one of them. Oh yeah, we could totally do better. Apparently the "new series" petition has freakin' 5,000 + signatures! I figure we could do just as well on one where we simply show how grateful we are, right?
The crew put tons of effort into the show, so we should do more than just demand they "give us more."
Any suggestions on other places to hit up for signatures?

Brilliant Idea! I signed it and sent the link to my friends who watched it so they'll sign it and I plan to post the petition in my myspace blog to get others to sign it as well.

Oh wow, it looks like the other petition did so well that the guy must've taken it down...however! Here's an equally potent one: a petition for an Avatar soundtrack!
