I'm going to start cutting back from DH. I've been trying to pare back for a while now. I'm here because I still have ongoing PM conversations with members here, but that could be switched to email at some later point.
Don't get me wrong, I love Avatar now more than ever, and DH will always have a special place in my heart. But the people here got me interested in a bunch of other things (anime, writing, costuming) and now that the series is over, it's time to move on to those interests.
Avatar isn't a show. It's a lifestyle. And now that it's over, we're free to try new things. Carpe diem, my fellow Avatards. Seize the day.

I loved watching the finale but I'm saddened at the same time that it's over now.
I know I'm going to buy the dvds whenever they come out here and re-watch them. Probably not as much as I do with my Friends dvds but whatever. xD But I will find new shows to entertain me like I did in the hiatus and there are already other shows I'm into as well, like Lost, Heroes and South Park.
I have to say that I've done more and been more active in the Avatar fandom. So watching Avatar will always be a fond memory. That's for sure.
And I don't think I'll be leaving DH anytime soon. This is my first and frankly, only forum. I've made some great friends here who are very precious to me now and I loved discussing Avatar and basically just posting here with all you guys.
This place really means a lot to me. <333

I think I'm going to work on my own Avatar Saga, my project for this august is to make an epilogue comic for my saga. But I don't think I'm going to put love into it. I think I'm just going to give people bit and peaces of it, and make folkloire type strip.
Other than that, I think there's more to life than being a fan, I want to dedicate my time to my spiritual side, I've been lacking that for quite some time now. I also want to do some good for the world, and not throw writing stories with good moral message, I want to be part of the fight, finish college, get my degree save the world.

I don't think I could just leave you guys. I've been here for a long time and it's like native to me now. I couldn't just leave.
I really hope some kind of spin-off comes out, giving us small hints about loose-ends.

I'm leaving unless Nandireya come through for me.
No point in sticking around otherwise. I'm sure all the cool people I met here will be leaving.

I'm going to be totally honest here, but I don't feel like doing anything now that Avatar is over. It was 3 years of my life and now it's just...over. ]: I just want something to take it's place, like a new Avatar series. IDK.

I have no idea. Avatar is the only fandom I've ever loved and known... and it's not like I've found an anime or a manga that I truly like yet...
*ish sad* My own writing, I guess, original stuff.

What am I going to do now that the finale is over?
Wait until SDCC to see what Mike and Bryan have in store for us next! =)

I guess I'll stay an Avatar fan. I'm starting several hobbies and I'm sure they'll fill up much of my time. Besides, I still love the show and it's because of Avatar that I've learned so much, made so many new friends, and been introduced to things that I never would've become a part of if not for this wonderful show.
I'm still gonna stay with the fandom. DH and ASN have great folks on them, and I don't think I'll be leaving anytime soon. As for the lack of new content (episode-wise), I think that's hardly a reason to leave the forums. There's plenty of fanfic to read and fanart to look at, but even if you never looked at any of that, you should still stay because this site is something special: a community of people who share one common interest. It's because of this common interest that we all came here and it's because of this interest that I hope this forum, and every other Avatar forum on the web, stays together for a long time.
I think I'm gonna pop in my book 1 and 2 DVDs and watch the show all over again. Now that I think about it, its been nearly a year since I've seen episodes that aren't from book 3, and when I watch this show it makes me think of old times. One thing I know for certain is that I'll be a fan until (and probably far after) the day I die.
Thank you all, Facestealer

I am really depressed now because avatar is and always will be my favorite show and I almost cried after that happy ending because it was the exact way it should have ended. I probably won't be interested in a new series if it isn't about team avatar. I mean, thanks for the total cliffhanger there Mike and Bryan there with zuko asking ozai about his mother knowing the show is over.

I'm definitely gonna stay on DH and be an active part of the Avatar fandom world.

LIKE EVERYONE IN THE GAANG AND OWL, LETS MAKE A DIFFERENCES IN THE WORLD, rather than just sit around on our butts, wasting our lives watching watered down anime ripoff of Avatar.

LIKE EVERYONE IN THE GAANG AND OWL, LETS MAKE A DIFFERENCES IN THE WORLD, rather than just sit around on our butts, wasting our lives watching watered down anime ripoff of Avatar. Too bad it probably won't happen. No matter how many times people ask about new avatar at CC mike and bryan will probably say no or wait and see.
