Iroh's was so sad. I did like how he helped and was so nice to the people. That just makes me think it's unbelievable that he almost took over Ba-Sing-Se

My favorite was Toph and Katara I liked seeing them interact, just like if they were sisters.

I voted for Iroh, but Momo and Zuko were tied for second. Iroh's was just so sad and I had tears running down my face. Momo's was really depressing too. The poor, sad little animals and then Momo going into the footprint. When we learned that Long Feng Earthbended Appa under that in Appa's Lost Days, I got so excited and screamed. I didn't like Katara and Toph or Aang's stories at all. I guess Sokka's kind of grew on me over time.

It's kind of hard to choose. Each of them was good in a different way. Toph and Katara was funny and it was those rare times Katara and Toph had gotten along. I loved that part where they got those snobby rich girls all wet. It also showed how she felt about herself When she says "One of the best things about being blind is that I don't have to worry about appearances. I don't need anyones opinion about my looks. I know who I am." I believe that is close. Anyways it was very inspiring. Sokka's was hilarious. I defiinitely loved the Haiku battle how easily he thought of those Haikus from the top of his head even though he had never done it before. Iroh was both sad with a few funny parts. My favorite part was when he came acroos those kids who were playing Earth bending soccer and when they broke the window he came up to them saying. "Admitting your mistakes will have its own rewards of forgiveness and respect." It was a long time ago so I don't remeber the exact words, but when that huge guy came shouting out he than said "But this would be an exception...Run!!!" That was funny.

Iroh's story really piqued my interest in the show, so I absolutely have to vote for it. The fact that a show like Avatar would choose to highlight the painful personal story of a man who isn't gorgeous, powerful, or young really surprised me. Momo's story would have to be a close second, however. It was beautifully animated (esp. the cherry tree & clouds that looked like Appa), and presented a heartrending (and surprisingly heartwarming) story without any dialogue. It's possibly the best blend of storytelling/animation in the entire show.
And Sokka... well that was just so cute and funny. When they were doing the haikus, I started counting out the syllables on my fingers. Seconds later, he starts doing the same thing, and I just about died laughing. No wonder this is still my favourite episode....

Iroh all the way.
It was so heartfelt and sad. The timing of its release was appropriate and tasteful as it coincided with Mako's death.

Iroh, man. It was really touching, and sad that he helped all those people but he didn't have anyone to help him.

The start was a little boring, the bit at the end with Lu Ten was very heartwarming. Zuko's is slightly romantic. I enjoyed the end of Momo's too. However, Sokka's was my favourite. I agree with whoever said we should have a haiku battle.

I think that Iroh was definetly the most powerful and it said alot about him (not that we didn't know that already but you know).

I'm kind of tied up on Iroh's and Zuko's stories. I think I like Zuko's more though. It showed that he can be good to a woman. Iroh's was very sad though.

"You eat a lot...for a girl." LOL
'Zuko's Tale' all the way for me with Iroh's story as a close second. Everyone always whines that this episode was fluff filler. I don't think that at all. It was chock-full of insight and revealed a heck of a lot about the characters featured.

I liked all of them but Sokka was the best Sokka's was really funny, and I enjoy humot more than anyhting else. I also used the 'poetry war' for an assinment, when we had to bring in a favorite poem of ours. Well poems. People thought I was a little out of it brining in the DVD though, but it was enjoyable. Hmor was what really makes me like the Sokka story so much, and the Iroh one, (Embarrisingly enough) made me cry at the end.
