What a waste of an episode...I mean it brought all the characters fears to light just before the final battle but...yeechhh!!! I seriously think this episode was made just to make fun of the fandon (which seriously needs to happen )

Is there any news of an epilogue? Maybe after the finale sometime?

This episode was a way for the creators to recap on most of the things that had happened in the series. So to prepare for the finale i guess. Precisely. And it was much more entertaining than an honest-to-dog clipshow. I think that the last two eps might count as filler in a way, but there was actually a lot of important character development (moreso with The Southern Raiders, but a little bit of Zuko in this one as well). I mean, Katara couldn't very well go into the finale still OMG HATE THE WORLD unless they were prepared to deal with that in the finale. Instead, they took care of that early and saved space in the finale for other important stuff, like, yes, Kataang, but also the White Lotus, Iroh being awesome, and, hopefully, Ursa's reappearance. Similarly, Zuko couldn't very well go into the finale scared to look his uncle in the face, because there just wouldn't be time to deal with it. (I think Toph and Zuko's bonding moment was my favorite part of the episode, but I'm an absolute sucker for emo backstory.) Give the writers some leeway. They're doing really well for all the complexities they've set up.

Haha, one of my favorite references in the whole episode: Compare with Haha, the translation is different too. 水山上的男孩 meaning "The Boy in the Iceberg". I totally laughed out loud when I saw which side Zuko's scar was on!

I lol at Jet's death scene. The creators are still nodding to his possible survival but still leaving it ambiguous.
I dun care how far he scoured, how the heck could Pu Wa Ting (Sp?) known anything about the Crystal Caverns?

What got to me in the Kataang moments of the episode was when Aang kissed her again after she just said she didnt know and that she was confused. i was like AANG ARE YOU STUPID!!!!?!?!?!?!? Ugh, I know! That was pretty stupid of him. In yesterday's episode he was so wise, and in today's he was the opposite. D: Overall, I still liked this episode. The "Did Jet just die?" part was hilarious. xD And I loved the Toph/Zuko bonding moment, though I wished she had gone on a field trip with him instead...

The "foreshadowing" in the play makes it pretty obvious that that is how the finale will not turn out. Zuko obviously won't die... ...is it wrong of me to hope that he's forced to throw himself kamikaze-style into the path of something deadly to save Aang? Yes. Yes it is.

(I think Toph and Zuko's bonding moment was my favorite part of the episode, but I'm an absolute sucker for emo backstory.) Me too. I would have loved the episode anyway, but I think that part made this episode one of my favorites this season. I'm happy with entertaining filler rather than plot development that seems ridiculous.

These past two episodes have seemed so short! I think I desperately need the two-hour special!

Don't get me wrong, I love plot development, too. But if we don't really know the people, don't really care about them, then it's kind of meaningless eye candy. {/writes novels in her spare time} EDIT: Nandi - I'll have one in just a sec.

I loved this episode because I've been waiting for a Toph and Zuko bonding moment. Although, the moment is rather brief but it was all good. So yeah. I finally recorded a little bit of the episode through my camera without it being corrupted. Now, to wait for the higher res quality to come through my itunes.
