I'm guessing nobody realized that Combustion Man survived that first incident where he "blew himself up", and the thing at the Western Air Temple is something that only the Gaang knows about.

I really though the last two episodes have geared us up for something great. While I felt that TSR was just a bit of the same plotline as the last three episodes, (Seriously, nobody noticed that Zuko went with Aang, then Sokka, then katara?) I felt they could stand as there own.
EIP gave us what we needed. A sense that the end is finally here, that control is as thin as ever, that hope still exists, and most of all, what can happen if they don't hold fast to what they believe.

Most of us noticed that, actually, and they even said it "Field trip..." I wonder what Pu Wa Ting (Sp??) would do, after he finds out that Ozai loses.

Well, it's a good thing that they had a humorous episode before this intense series finale.
And I like the bunraku inspired theatre stuff.

This episode made really reminded me that even though Aang has been through alot and matured alot. And while he's no longer that boy in the iceberg, he is still a kid. He's so fragile and prone to manipulation, he believes wholeheartedly that play was an exact account of what really happen.

I still don't comprehend the whole Crystal Catacomb thing. What's there to get? It was entirely inaccurate. Obvious the playwright made everything up during that scene. ;D

You know what was really funny about this episode? Zuko: "Did Jet just... die??" Sokka: "It wasn't really clear...."
haha the creators definitely had fun making fun of the way the fans reacted with Jet dying.

I liked this episode a lot. It was hilarious! I cheated and watched the sneak peek online and even since then I've been dying to see the full episode. I usually prefer the light hearted episodes, because they are done so well. Although this one had a creeping feeling of seriousness as it progressed. I don't think I would have changed a thing. I really enjoyed the Zuko/Toph bonding scene. It never occurred to me before, but they've never had the chance to talk, have they? It was cute.

^^ Didnt notice that before! I guess its apporpriate considering the Earth King's own admittion.
Aang's expression when fake katara said she only thought of him as a kid brother was heart wrenching. It was probably a worry he'd been stewing over for sometime.

Haha me neither, haha maybe he was cut. If anything I would assume we saw him during that scene way actress Azula zapped actress Aang, I think thats when they were in the palace...right?! Maybe its before when we saw mai and tylee.....i dont know..lol....i don't remember seeing him at all.......
Anyways, who thought it was kind of horrible of the Gaang to just be so disconcerning about Jet like that, at least they can show some remorse for him, instead, they just shrugged, thats pretty horrible due to the fact they were well of aware of the condition during lake laogai, they could of been like "I wander if he's alright." not "Oh I wonder what happen to whats his face," man the gaang can be so insensitive sometime.

ME LIKEY!!!! although, the kataang part was kinda sad, but not surprising at all. It was funny when toph was all happy about her actor person, and the part with zuko and katara was funny too. i thought that azula and ty lee where funny looking, i laughed when i saw them. It was a really good episode though, its nice to have a normal non life threatoning moment right before the last episodes. haha ya that Kataang part was pretty sad (and stupid of Aang) but its all good in the end.

I loved this eppie. Although it wasn't as funny as I thought it would be it kept me laughing.
I loved the Blue Spirit part, will always be my fav.
I also loved play Sokka. Play Azula looked rediculous, so did play Ty Lee. Mai looked about perfect. And play Ozai was soo handsome, I liked him better than the real Ozai. And I loved girl Aang. The catacom scene was great, so was Aang's reaction as well as Zuko and Katara's. Too bad we could see Sokka's.
