Absolutely LOVED this episode! Although I'm a bit upset that Hakoda, Chit Sang, Haru, Teo and Duke were just written off the show (well, all except for Hakoda probably) with a simple "good luck going up against heavy odds and flying a zeppelin with five people!" Oh well, I guess it's better than a "have fun liberating Ba Sing Se while we real men do all the tough stuff" . . .
I just loved Aang in this one, especially his "It's easy to do nothing; but its hard to forgive." line. Just reminds me why I love his character so awesome!
Sokka was great as well. Questionable interactions with Suki aside, his "Man, normally I just find that stuff anoying . . ." and "Can I borry Momo?" lines were hilarious!
And on a different note, where the freak was Toph this episode after they landed on their little island retreat? I mean, I know her character is completely developed and all, but it felt weird not seeing her at all for the second half of this episode.

yeah i thought the suki/sokka thing was absolutley hilarious. when aang was talking to katara about not killing that person, i thought it was annoying. how dare he try to force his beliefs on his friends. violence is not the answer, but sometimes it's necessary.

ya y did it feel like that it was like 10 mins long or sumtin.. Cause that's how awesome it was. =P And I agree with the whole Katara-shouldn't-have-gotten-over-it-so-quickly. She was full of so much rage and then she suddenly stops all on her own... I expected someone to stop her, like Zuko who was standing right there.

That was awesome. I was waiting for Katara to bloodbend again. Also, the ending was great. Zuko brought up a great point. 9/10
However, for Katara's esy forgiving of Zuko, I wish it was longer.
This episode was very short.

Musashiran: I don't know, I think Katara was being unreasonable because of her anger and Aang was just trying to help her realize she was doing this for no reason except for revenge. It wouldn't help anyone to kill a retired firenation soldier who now has a family (and a garden! ) SHE BLOODBENDED! I never thought she'd do that.... It really shocked me

This episode was an epic win in my book! I fell on the floor having a spazz attack when Zuko walked in on Sokka! My inner Zukka fan just went insane. Adn Katara is no longer my least favorite character after seeing that bloodbending awesomeness! Adn was it just me or did Zuko seem sad when he saw Azula falling... Oh, wait... Of course he was... Because he is not heartless! Azula seems pretty dang insane now. I was really glad to see the Zutara hug was nothing... And Suki and Sokka were about to... Um... well you all get the picture... Anyway... MOST AWESOME EPISODE EVER!!! Well, one of them anyway...

But think about this.......when does the vengeance stop? When does violence stop? you make a reason for killing one person, then another and another. Before you know it you're the killer. Straight out of Death Note xD And the bloodbending? Now Zuko knows he has more reason to get on Katara's good side.

YAAAY! I feel so satisfied! I haven't been enjoying this season as much but I really liked this episode. I loved the way Katara said "Do you know who I am?" I bet the Zutarians are all giddy about this one! I'm so glad they didn't pull a "surprise, your mom's alive!" like I thought they would. Of course it would be awesome to see her in action but it would be too cheesy and perfect.

YES! Zuko's face was great in that seen... he was so shocked and it looked like he was almost a little afraid.... and honestly he should be! It's so barbaric!
Yes, Katara didn't realize that by her killing him she would have become the monster to his children just like he was to her when he killed her mother

Hmm... I liked the pacing of this episode, actually... Haha, it was chilling to hear Azula declare celebration of becoming an only child (I was thinking "OMG AHHHHH NOOOO"), cause this is like the first time she so unambigiously indicated this towards Zuko. I was surprised she didn't use her super jetpack firebending powers to save herself other than just propelling herself to the side wall. But then again, I guess that would've just been sorta cheesy. Zuko: Woohoo for Zuko's firebending!! The fight scene between him and Azula reminded me of their duel in Zuko Alone, where pretty much every blow Azula landed on Zuko blew him backwards into a wall, through a building, etc. And of course there was the first ep of season 2 where Azula pretty much had Zuko owned without even firing a single shot. But now, he pretty much effortlessly blocked her attacks and made his own. I was impressed at how he was able to jump through the air, defend Azula's attack, and make his own attack all at the same time. Heehee, I'm really glad Zuko has a new source for his firebending, one that's a lot stronger. YEAH ZUKO!! Sukka: Lol I was also like "wth, haha I can't believe they're actually showing this". Come to think of it, this episode more than any of the others illustrates the point that Avatar is NOT a kid's show (with the story of Katara's mom and all and the near impalement at the end) Aang: Wow, it was really good to hear those words of forgiveness come from him. It shows that there's still a wise person under that goofy exterior, a true avatar. Katara: I think one of the reasons why I also felt sort of weird at the conclusion of the episode is because it doesn't really offer an answer to Katara's question: was she just too weak to kill him, or was it because she actually was strong enough not to? Man, it gave me chills to see how quickly and easily Katara was willing to use bloodbending again, even when she probably had other alternatives, and especially after seeing her reaction at the end of The Puppetmaster. I wasn't quite sure how to feel about the general at the end, in that scene with him just crying from the ordeal... not sure who to feel sorry for... just goes to show how complex these issues are. But FINALLY SHE FORGAVE ZUKO!! But was it only because he tried to help her gain revenge? Too many questions... ahh need to think about this some more. A great episode with a lot more weighty stuff than anything seen so far, IMO. Can't wait for tomorrow and of course the FINALE!

I thought the episode was perfect...sure more detail could be need but really it just add too much to the obvious point.
I think the reason how we got to forgiveness katara for zuko can be lost is because..we may not pay attention, that Zuko felt that some how anger toword him could be interlated with her mother and some how she open up to him and felt betrial...SO if your a Zutara...they need to stuck in caves ;D
