My God! I'm so excited, I loved the graphic novel and this movie looks so faithful to it. Rorschach looks so badass.

It looks very promising, I hope they do the graphic novel justice.

Aside from the Last Air bender, I cant think of another adaptation that could fill me with this much anticipation and dread at the same time.

I still haven't got to read the Graphic Novel yet. Is it worth buying?

^ The original trailer was much much better. I still haven't got to read the Graphic Novel yet. Is it worth buying? OMG, If you never read another graphic novel for the rest of your life, please read Watchmen.

"Quis custodiet ipsos custodes" A very good question. You know, I read Watchmen a few years back, borrowed it froma friend, and I was blown away. No other graphic novel had I ever read before or since had done that, so needless to say, I have high hopes for the movie. Of course, it's news to me, having found out about it just now. In other news, Rorschach and Nite Owl are also getting the video game treatment. Due out next year, Watchmen: The End is Nigh. More about this on the Video Game board.

Yah, I'd like to say the copyright system is mostly to blame, but WB shouldn't have been this stupid.

I can't believe I have to wait until it comes out on DVD to see it since it's rated R. D; i haven't had a chance to read the graphic novel though because high school is kicking my butt i'm bad at time management, but i have a feeling i'll have a hard time comprehending it.

Just go in anyway. Buy a ticket for like.. whatever animated animal movie is coming out that weekend and just sneak into Watchmen. We did it for 300.
Alan Moore is super mega turbo p*ssed at this movie. But then again he was never really excited about his works being turned into movies. He hasnt seen it, nor does he plan to. Hopefully Zack Snyder does something smart and doesnt make it an "America" version. I know that sounds kinda.. awful.. but its kind of like how V for Vendetta stood more for an American ideal vs another American ideal rather than the straight fascism vs anarchy that V for V stood for.
I'm not one really for good book to movie transitions.. it can be really really hard to do justice for books no matter how hard you try. I just dont like to see the author's reactions. Its kind of like the equivalent of seeing your grown child in a pr0n.
